Yugo Roll and Bowl
Good restaurant quality food at a food court setting and the prices do reflect that. Costed us more than $60 for the meal (including tips). Everything was nicely made. Our only complaint was the veggies for the bowls were quite salty. Other than that we were happy with everything.

Delicious and balanced rice bow, a bit on the pricy side but good for two meals for me. Ordered #16, Yuzu Tantoro bowl, the pork was juicy and tender and Brussels sprouts were crispy. The yuzu dressing was refreshing but they added some chili that’s quite spicy. Would order again occasionally.

In-Oh-vacationBrentwood’s food court is a corner of Asia. Yugo is a unique culinary cultural exchange. They use good quality fish and rice from there they run with a healthy imagination to create delectable such as the sushi taco. A unique and tasty experience.Still it is expensive for what it is but one is paying for an experience.

Salmon aburi oshi sushi was just ok for the price. The salmon tasted fresh and good but it didn’t melt in my mouth. The salmon piece was pretty thin. The mayo was good and I could definitely taste the char. The rice texture was good but it tasted bland - it lacked of the sushi rice flavor (a tad of acidity from the rice vinegar). For a quick bite, it was ok - solid 3.5 stars.

We got the salmon, tuna, hamachi and tiger prawn to share between two of us, and it was plenty. Weren't big fans of the tiger prawn as it had too much cheese on it. Service was a bit slow, and a bit pricier than other sushi options in the neighborhood. Overall a unique option to try in the Brentwood Food market

Yugo Roll and Bowl
It was my first time to eat at this new Amazing Brentwood Tables (food court) today. Soooooo many people were having lunch here. When I got here at about 11:30am, it was full. Most of the tables and chairs were occupied. My family and I found a table which was the furthest from the main area of the food court. Each food stall had many people waiting to order and waiting for the food to come out. I waited at Yugo Roll & Bowl. The line was moving pretty fast but the wait time for the food was about 15 mins. The quality of the Oshi sushi was good. It had a bit too much rice; otherwise it would be balanced in terms of the amount of rice that went with the salmon or tuna.My sister ordered the veggie garden roll and avocado Oshi sushi. She said the veggie garden was just okay. It didn’t really wow her. Maybe it’s just a normal veggie dish that it is a bit more plain? The price was reasonable. It is not as pricy as how much we pay at a Japanese restaurant. The food stall got several staff working at the same time. It was quite busy that they worked non stop. One was a cashier taking order. A few made sushi and rolls. A couple at the back assisted to run the business. One helped to hand out the food. The bad thing I experienced today was the chaotic situation at this particular food stall. Customers had to line up to order and paid at the cashier. The cashier would give us receipts and asked us to wait for the food. However, the waiting area was right at the back of the food stall. The staff who called the numbers and asked customers to pick up the food was right at the front of the food stall or next to the cashier. Nobody could hear clearly if that staff called out a number. He basically had to yell and shout loudly. The security guy did not let us (customers) wait near the food stall as it was the entrance of the food court. The security guy asked us to wait at the back of the food stall. I explained to him nobody could hear when the Yugo guy was calling a number and nobody knew when to pick up the food. He said he understood and he would communicate with the business person there.I walked closer to where the staff called out the number and I could hear him and pick up my food! I literally told the staff there saying that this was completely disorganized as they asked customers who ordered the food to wait at the back of the food stall. He replied to me “this is the management decision. Not mine.” I said I totally understood but I was just telling him that this caused the trouble for customers who could barely hear him at the back. There were so many people around in the food court and it was noisy. It was difficult for him to call out loudly and yelled the numbers. Would he feel comfortable doing this the whole day?I hope this chaotic situation will be improved. Take a look at Chef Hung’s Noodles who uses a tv to show the numbers, so customers know when to pick up the food.

Yugo Roll and Bowl
After trying out soon coffee, I felt the need to hop on over next door to the Yugo roll & bowl restaurant. The lighting and menu really stood out to me so I decided to take a glimpse at what they had to offer.Quality - the chirashi Don had a nice amount of fish on it and the tamago & tobiko gave it a nice texture and taste as well. The only con I found was there was not enough flavour. They gave you a side of soy sauce to place over but I was expecting more flavour than this. It is a $16 bowl that will fill you up quite a bit which is great. The lacking of flavour is what would deter me from ordering it again. The aburi sushi was yummy in flavour and had a nice texture. I received the prawn aburi and salmon aburi. I also ordered their brentwood roll" which also had a nice flavoue to it.Service- the staff didn't seem too upbeat to be serving customers when I got there. Maybe they were tired from a long day? I mention this because the overall service experience wasn't the best and I felt it could have been handled better. Where to line up was super confusing to start off with. When we attempted to order a salmon bowl they told us they were sold out so I went for another bowl instead. We also originally ordered the Hamachi aburi but it seemed that by the time we got our food they had sold out but did not tell us until they presented the food to us. At that point they just said we made you salmon aburi instead

Great restaurant in the mall. Second time there and not the last. My partner and I have several allergies (such as gluten) that were taken care of. We had a salmon customed bowl and really enjoyed it. Really fresh food. The second time, the cashier did remembered us and our allergies! We took the same plate and are really appreciative of their service. They seem to truly care about their customers.

If you're at Brentwood food court and absolutely have to eat sushi now because your life depends on it then you can give Yugo Roll a go. This is basically textbook example of fast-food" sushi place. Service is quick. But kind of pricey compare to outside sushi (+10~20% compare to outside). Taste is

Presentation and flavour of a fois gras Japanese style taco from a food court was spectacular. Pricey but worth the experience.
