Life Changes Therapy

I came to Sonia a year ago in the middle of a “life storm”. She was my first therapist and I didn’t know what to expect. From the very first session Sonia explained to me everything I needed to understand and apparently couldn’t before. She showed me a perspective and another way of thinking. We had a few more sessions and she made me feel better. Last month I reached out to Sonia asking for help with a family situation and this is where Sonia gave me a life saving support. She showed so much empathy, compassion, understanding and humanity which in combination with her professionalism did the impossible for me (sorry I can’t be specific here for obvious reasons). And every time we spoke, she just showed how much she cares about me. Sonia, I am so grateful to you for everything you have done for me and my family!

I started with Sonia when I changed my careers a year before the pandemic started. I had a hard time accepting that the success I had achieved in my previous career could not be achieved in the first couple of months in a new career even though I was driving at a very high speed. Sonia helped me from reaching burnout and then helped me realize some of my saboteurs that were causing me to be unhappy.During the pandemic, she also helped me with the difficult times that we all were facing and gain a better understanding on self care and some techniques on dealing with anxiety.Overall, she has been instrumental in helping me find balance and overcome guilt, anxiety, depression and my need to please.
