Just rented a bunch of gear for a show and John in the rentals department was such a pro and so quick to put my order together. Great job! No one beats these guys, especially when it comes to rentals!

This particular location is decent if you know what you’re going in for and don’t need assistance.The reason for this, there are a few employees who work there, who I mistook for robots since they never crack a smile or express any emotion.It makes the shopping experience a little tense and just generally not as enjoyable as it should be, especially when you go in there excited and prepared to drop a few grand. I’ve actually walked out of there based on which employees were available to help me with a transaction at the time.If you can avoid the ones who have no people skills and generally dont smile, overall the store is good. Its generally well stocked and if what you want isn’t on the shelf they can usually order it for you.

I came in over the weekend for a Christmas related gift that wasn't in stock/ discontinued. I spoke with Nathaniel and he was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable and was able to recommend an equivalent for the same price point.He offered to have it shipped to his store for pickup, or if I wanted I was able to pickup from the St Cathrines location. I chose to pick it up and he called to confirm it was all there and to place a hold on it for me. Super awesome person to deal with and really helped me out huge.I'm unsure about Cory's comment below; as everything he had mentioned is un true. Nathaniel is very professional and pleasant. He really took the extra step to help. Thanks again!

Good products, okay prices. I bought a guitar and amp from them but do to my hands i couldn't continue playing, was going to sell them for around 400 to 500 on FB market place but was getting constant low ball offers. We decided to try selling it back to the store. We knew we wouldn't get what we wanted but it was better than letting someone get it for way less than its worth (it was over 1000 brand new). We when't in and the guy was very helpful, we told him the situation and he helped us out alot. He ignored the return window and almost gave us a refund with a small restocking fee, almost getting are full money back. We were long passed the return time but i guess he felt bad for why we had to sell it back. I don't think this would happen all the time but whoever that guy was deserves a raise, because of him if i ever need an instrument i will be going back there.

I purchased a guitar off amazon and i got what i paid for hahahaha jokes on me. I took the trash i purchased(amazon)to this store to have tuned and was informed about all of the visual (body) defects to it. Anywho a friendly staff member tried to tune it with no luck. So ya.. I left the wonderful garbage at the store and purchased 2 guitars **real** guitars from long and Mcquade. Staff get a A+++ for just being so dang helpful and polite. Returning today when it opens to get an amp for the electric i got my son. This will be my music supply store for as long as i try to learn the guitar. Sincerely, New Learner Dean LyonHamilton On. Each time I’ve entered this location, I’ve been greeted by the right type of sales staff.Inquires if I need anything, always accessible, never the least bit invasive. Musicians like to look and staff members respect that while also acknowledging they can help with anything at any time.Specifically, I’ve been assisted by John, on several occasions. The wealth of knowledge, the ease with which he explains, and his ability to answer each and every question is a special quality in sales staff. The man takes time to explain, to set up guitars, pedals, amps, etc. with a desire to help and the knowledge to provide real support to musicians eager to learn. This makes me want to return and pay retail prices.When I return, any piece of gear purchased, will give John full credit and commission, because it’s no less than he deserves. And he’s earned it.Promote him.Or give him a raise.Or lower retail costs so musicians can spend more in store.Either way, John is professional, knowledgeable and above all helpful. I shop at LnM for staff like John.Cheers,

Today was our first time in the store (Hamilton), we were looking at purchasing a new Electric Guitar and an Acoustic Guitar but needed some help on the brand and models we had in mind.Mike came to our rescue, he talked with us and we told him what we were looking for and what our playing experience was, he helped us pick out everything from guitars to an amp to cases and other accessories to fit our needs and wants.It was a pleasure dealing with Mike, we will continue to shop at this store, and are considering taking some lesson there as well, they had everything we asked for in stock and Mike was a pleasure to deal with, he was very knowledgeable and polite.Thanks for all your help in our purchases today.

I bought my first guitar from long and McQuade a couple weeks ago. The staff was really busy with other customers. One of the costumers even helped me pick a guitar and show me how to tell if it's a good one. I was still unsure and a staff member came and helped me with my decision. He was talented and knowledgeable. Such a wonderful experience. I'm so looking forward to be going back for purchases and learning about my new hobby.

Absolutely fantastic experience and really knowledgable staff. I dealt mainly with John and he was so patient and understanding and explained everything about electric guitars to me (a beginner) from woods used, to how to maintain a guitar properly to even showing me what sort of guitars I would like based on my preferences. I ultimately went with a Les Paul and can't be happier. John if you are reading this, I owe you a big one!
