What an amazing shop! One of the best selections of great quality flies in town and at a great price. I showed up on a day when they were closed and Geoff, the owner, opened the door for me, gave me a tour of the facility and even took the time to recommend some flies and gear. Its nice to see that customer service is not dead in this day and age of faceless big box stores.They are definitely my go to to fly shop from here on in.

Pieroway rods have served me well for the past almost 10 years. Just picked up an X 8 weight to battle some big pikes next week. Service is always great and warranty service is second to none. I should know I break a few rods....Stop by and visit the fly shop and tour of the rod factory, you may find that impossible to find material that you have been looking for.

High quality rods and top notch service.Being able to customize is a huge plus. I've owned these rods for over 6 years with no issues to date. One of the best experience in a Fishing shop Ive had! Not only did I get a smoking deal on a new Rod & Reel, Geoff showed me around his shop and how each part of the rod was made. Great selection of Flies and other equipment as well!They even hooked me up with a sweet custom hat!

I purchased a 9ft 8wt Pieroway Element rod last year directly from Geoff for Salmon Fishing in Newfoundland. He was very easy to contact, I'm pretty sure I ordered that rod while standing in line at the grocery store through Facebook Messenger. I was so impressed with the Element that I started dropping hints at home about wanting a Pieroway Tactical. Luck for me, this Christmas I was given a Tactical 10ft 8wt as a surprise by my wife. I noticed a minor issue with my rod while gearing up for this salmon season. I contacted Geoff, he was awesome to deal with and took care of me right away. He went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied, and maintained contact with me throughout the whole process. This was the true measure of how great of a company this is, it's one thing to build beautiful rods (and there's no doubt that Pieroway rods are beautiful), but the level of customer service after the purchase and the fact that Geoff stands behind his products 100% is what makes Pieroway such an awesome company. My next rod will likely be a Pieroway custom.

The quality and craftsmanship of Pieroway Rods are second to none. Their warranty and service are unmatched, if you want the rod of a lifetime buy a Pieroway. All rods are handmade with attention to detail, if you want something really unique and heirloom check their private collection. The rods are inexpensive, most other rods you buy are 1000 bucks or more and mass produced. What you get in a Pieroway is unmatched in quality and cost and you end up with a rod of a lifetime.

I have been using Pieroway Rods (custom and off the shelf) for the last few years and have found them hard working rods that stand up to alot of abuse. I've snapped them occasionally, same as my other branded rods, and been glad I could drop in and get a new section. You'll find rods here that are unique in length and action - other rod brands are just catching on to some of these specialized styles. The fly shop is also a place to find some great and unique materials for your fly bench. Custom Rod building is also a fun experience in the shop. Geoff is a very hard working and honest owner and great community member. Highly recommend getting to know Geoff and adding a Pieroway Rod to your quiver.

Probably one of the best experiences I’ve ever had walking into a fishing shop. Stumbled upon Geoff by luck and totally glad I did great guy to deal with. Best fly selection around and fixed a 2 broken rods on the spot. Was also lucky to get a full tour of the shop and how things are made. Ended up leaving with a bunch of great flys and a new rod for a fantastic deal. Give these guys a visit and you won’t regret it

Was in the market for a new Fly Rod, had my heart set on a Sage when another friend, and Peiroway customer, recommended I check out these Canadian made rods by a fellow Newfoundlander now based in Calgary. It just so happened that I was visiting Calgary at the time for work so I emailed the address on their site, said I was in town and would like to drop by. Customer service was excellent, owner Geoff kept the store open late to meet me, gave me a tour of his shop, and answered all my questions. Super nice guy.What actually won me over was the quality of the rods for the money. I ended up getting a Tactical 10' 8WT and the first thing I noticed is the overall fit and finish of the rod was much nicer than the Sage I was considering and about $100 less expensive. Really great value.Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and looking forward to some fishing this summer!Thanks Geoff!
