I had a furnace that kept breaking down every Christmas eve! I had another well-known company look at it, and they could not figure out what was wrong. Icom did, charged me fairly, and when we needed a new furnace, they did a great job too. They care.

Company does not fix the problem. Had a Tech find out the problem, but never fixed it during a cold snap. Charged me $200.00 to figure out the issue, which was a replacement furnace vent. Asked if they can do it, Tech said he doesn't do that. Instead insisted the furnace needs replacement at over $6200.00. Which the furnace is only 10+ years old. Had a different company come in replace the stack, test the furnace and it works great. To me this was a cash grab trying to replace something that wasn't broken. Also the Tech guy was a student, pulled out of school for my service call. Do not use this company, shop around.

I can not say enough great things about this company and the outstanding people that work there. They are always professional and friendly and the work they do is exceptional. They have come through for us many times when we needed assistance and they are always knowledgeable. You will never find a better company to deal with for what they do.

Very poor service. I had these people come to my house to repair my furnace, they could not repair it, couldn’t detect the problem, charged me over 600.00 dollars, never did no follow ups or showed any concern afterwards to see how the furnace was running. The service man cleaned the flame sensor and wrote down he serviced the furnace. They kept saying they would get back to me with a solution, but my calls were never returned. A new service man called and said he would get back to me, never did.

Company was hired in August for service a furnace, what they did and got paid $4002.5 month later with beginning of heating season I found one problem wasn’t fixed what cost me almost $400 on utility bills. I visit their office and kindly ask to come back and finish job properly which they got paid. Manager or boss was extremely rude and said their warranty only 30 days, so I should pay them again for fixing their mistakes because their priority is making money and they not work for free. Sorry but who use furnace in August? So, I got ripped off total for almost $800 for service bill and huge utility bill cause their job wasn’t done.

If you want to get ripped off this is the company they will do your pockets empty,Their technicians don't know what are they doing,They charged me $650 just to diagnose the problem after 4 hours and I was fed up, told them to stop work and leave.And I called another company they fixed everything under $400.So be aware don't use this company at all.

I don't know how to describe this company? They had fixed my walk-in cooler temperature issue by replacing the digital temperature controller a few years ago. I thought they were good.Until yesterday when I called them again to fix the same issue. But this time it was my walk-in freezer. I think the digital temperature controller for the freezer should need to be replaced. Because both walk-in cooler and freezer are the same age.While the phone call was made shortly after 11am. They asked me to set up an account before providing the service. They told me there are no guarantees to send the technician to the site the same day or next day. Because my application needs to be sent to their vice president to get approval first. So it would depend on approval and decide whether they will send out their technician. I had told them I will pay them right away by cheque or credit card after work is similar to C.O.D.. Because I am not their new customer. They had checked and confirmed that they had previously repaired my walk-in cooler two years ago. Even that I still need to set up an account before the service as they told me. I just want to fix my freezer as soon as possible. I don't want to wait for their setup procedures and want to skip that. They refused my request and said that is their company policy.What a policy! It is a stupid policy I think. You don't trust me first and how to let me trust you then. How can I provide my personal info and my credit card number to you? I have been in business for over 22 years. There are many repairs and maintenance each year for my restaurant. I usually paid my contractors and suppliers right away after their work or deliveries. Such as Icom's policy I have first met. If my restaurant is particularly asking my customer paid the bill first then eat later policy. I am wondering how many customers would enjoy it and come back?Oppositely, after I ended up the call with Icom. I had called Temp-Rite Refrigeration. They swiftly sent a technician to the site without any question. They diagnosed the issue and replaced the digital temperature controller. Fortunately my walk-in freezer ran again around 3:30pm before the dinner hour. And Temp-Rite charged me a reasonable and fair price.Finally I want to say that Icom left me so disappointed this time. I would recommend Temp-Rite Refrigeration to others with their friendly, quality services and reasonable price.
