What makes this shop a great place are the superb tarts with different flavours, the fresh donuts and the magnificent view of the lake at the rear.

If you're ever in the area or really in for a good treat and don't mind the scenic trip, the donuts from here are a must-get. Definitely in my top 5 of all time, and I love donuts. And if you're in to stay, there's a beautiful pond in the back where you can see the swans swimming. And you can't forget their stone over pizza.

A historic building and mill with a very old machinery for carpentry, tools I haven't seen in a long time. The time when mortices were done by hand. They also have a store, and on Saturdays and Sundays, they have wood fired pizza.

This place is a must visit.Freshly made donuts.Tarts were amazing!You want to come on a weekend though to enjoy the pizza. Cause Pizzas are served on Saturdays & Sundays.Try the chocolate ice cream for sure.Everything here is fresh & the staff are so friendly.I'm definitely coming back here very soon

What a pleasant visit, just a quick drive of the beaten path and there you go....a step back into the past. Take your time to google this place for all its history. When I stopped I had a coffee and fresh made, still warm doughnuts, ordered a half dozen, yup, I ended up going for another half dozen.....so good! Do yourself a favor and just get a dozen. Also a pizza oven is on the premises, but closed when we were there (Labour Day Monday), but we'll return for the pizza soon.

Went to this funky little place to buy some cedar planks. Fantastic and fun experience. Will go again and again and again.And their tarts are to die for. Now they also offer oven-fired pizza on the weekend.Pleasant drive great people and a great atmosphere. Make the drive

Literally just outside of Toronto (Okay, 30 - 45 mins. east of) you can step back in time. The offerings are eclectic, the prices are more than reasonable. If baking is something you do on a regular basis I recommend you drop in and check out their 'non-commercial' selection.

Small, yet quaint, every little detail, has lots of history in it. Snacks were tummy & would love to buy a pizza or 2 to take home.
