Paws in the Bath Dog Grooming

CHANGED MY REVIEW! Awesome place to groom your own dog. Staff SUPER HELPFUL. Loved the way dogs are treated there.Since my first review I have become increasingly disappointed with this buisness. The staff has change and are not as personable. I had planned some errands while Trixie was being groomed. Because I arrived 1 hour after Trixie was finished but before the estimated time they gave me I was charged an additional $25 more than most places charge for a day for doggy day care. This was also my 2cd appointment and I had 2 more booked in advance and included my Dads 2 dogs for 2 of those appointments. We all come from out of town. Super happy with the girl featured in the pictures but unfortunately she is no longer there. I have now changed groomers.

Just look at the pictures (before and after). We discussed that our dog will have a belly cut, and the bottom shaved as she is hot in summer. They shaved her all around including her beautiful tail!Explanation “we couldn’t brush the tail, so we shaved it”. The shaving was not even, there are bumps and holes all over. They didn’t make a refund, didn’t fix uneven shaving. Our dog looks miserable now.Total cost was 150$ (including tax and tips). Do not recommend this service. It’s just awful!

I wanted to let Pippa’s groomer from last Sunday know that she did a great job. She looks amazing and the attention to detail was noticeable. The groomer took her time as the previous grooming at another salon had nicked her ear. It happens but the consequence was that Pip did not want to go near grooming. Thank you for the care and patience.

I have a senior rescue dog who is very nervous; she is afraid of strangers and unfamiliar noises, so I wasn't sure how she was going to react to the grooming session. The folks at Paws in the Bath were so caring and gentle, that she had no problems at all with being bathed and clipped. Wonderful experience! I can't praise them highly enough. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would!

Excellent groomers and very accommodating! Typically they only need an hour to complete their work. My dog seems really comfortable with going which is awesome

Wish I switched here sooner! Best groom my pup has had in a long time, and he was so happy to be in a cage-free facility.

I took my dog here after he got sprayed by a skunk. They did a good job at getting the majority of the smell out of his fur, however when they cut his nails they got his quik really good. I called the next day when they opened and explained that when I got home I noticed his paw was bleeding. The lady on the phone was quick to dismiss my complaint and said it must've happened on his way home. My dog went from the groomers, to the car and home. There was nothing that could have cut just ONE nail down to the quik. At this point, she started giving me attitude over the phone, and I said I would send her a photo of it, and she gave me their email, then said alright" and hung up the phone. Clearly some members of this location need better customer service skills. First and last time at the aurora location.*** Update

Worst place to take your dog if you even care a little bit. They cut off the tip of my dogs ears and he was scared when he left there. They are very rude and they don’t take any responsibility of what they did to my dog.

Paws in the Bath Aurora is phenomenal. I have a high energy Yorkie and we are so fortunate to have Caitlin groom every last hair on her head to perfection and just as we request. She, and all of the staff are courteous and patient with every customer and take such care with each furry family member. I trust all staff with any animal in their hands. The store is always clean and tidy. And, the best part is the results of the groom: impeccable!! Thank you Caitlin, and congratulations to all staff on running such a great grooming salon!

Brought my dog for a nail trimming. My dog is for sure a hard dog to deal with as he does not enjoy getting his nails trimmed. We have had them done at Paws In The Bath multiple times with no issues. This time they cut them all way to short and one specifically was cut and bleeding. The lady who cut them said she nicked him a little. When we got home and inspected it was not little. It was alot as it did not stop bleeding for 3 hours and then on and of the next few days. I understand this happens but it would have been nice if the groomer was honest about how much was cut. I also think they should be aware they cut too much off on all nails and this is very risky.
