Very helpful staff and plenty of dog and cat food options! TONS of raw food options and delivery for minimum $50 spending. Super helpful when you live 30 minutes away.

Best place to grab healthy raw dog food. Great staff who are well informed and provide helpful and kind service. They even host seminars to teach people about the benefits of a raw diet for their pets. It's a really welcoming environment and you can bring your dog into the shop!

If my dog could write this, he would definitely give five stars. And I would agree. The staff are always helpful and never pushy! I go in every couple of months to stock up on treats for my little one and he goes crazy when he gets his Hungry Pooch special treats. The prices are very fair and I would highly recommend it.

I've been feeding my dogs and cats from here for 3 years now and I wouldn't chose anywhere else.They have an amazing staff, competitive pricing, and great selection of food, toys, and treats that you can tell have all been properly vetted for quality and safety.The same can be said about their South Windsor location.

My dog was seriously ill because of manufactured dog food containing toxins. The veterinarian could not figure out what he was suffering from suffice it to say my dog was dying. After talking to a good friend they suggested that I go to the hungry pooch and obtain some raw meat. I did so and my dog made a remarkable recovery for a few days. To make a long story short the very well-informed owner of the hungry pooch analyzed the blood work that I got from the vet and suggested some herbal remedies. After administering these herbs my dog has made a wonderful recovery except for being mostly deaf and blind which I blame the manufactured dog food. I highly recommend this establishment if you are looking for the very best that you want to feed your pet. I cannot stress how much faith I have in these people. Thank you hungry pooch I now have my beloved pet back.

I so appreciate the kindness and consideration the owners have shared every time I walk through the doors. Their first concern is the health of my lab and I know everything I get from their shelves is the very best in quality. Big shout out to their customer service as well!
