I'm very happy I decided to take a contract with Northern Med! The staff that I have interacted with have all been so kind and they really do care and make an effort to check in with you. Whenever issues came up with scheduling or accommodations, they were quick to address the situation. I loved Nova Scotia so much that I actually extended my contract! I made lots of friends and was able to explore a part of Canada that I probably wouldn't have if it wasn't for travel nursing.

Northern medical connections has more of a personal approach with their employees. I always feel I can count on them with my contracts and they truly want their nurses to have the best experiences. They are the company I went with to get out of the traditional full time employment- and I based a large part of my decision on the fact that they gave me the best “vibes”when speaking with them. It felt natural, personal and easy to communicate with them. I always highly recommend them!

10/10 Best agency around. I’ve worked for multiple agencies across Canada over the last few years and NMC is truly the best - besides the basics you’d want from any travel nurse agency - they’re also: authentic, by-nurses-for-nurses, and pay the highest base wage! I send all my colleagues to NMC because of how great they’ve treated me; how they work with and support me.

I love working with this company. They are responsive, honest, up front and committed to their staff. Anytime there have been hiccups I’ve been helped immediately, and solutions have been found. After working and communicating with many different agencies, NMC is one I will continue to work with and recommend! The work life balance I’ve been able to create from being a travel nurse without pressure from NMC to work extra, work constantly etc. is incredible and has rekindled my love for the profession.
