South Park Design Build

I have worked with South Park on a few projects over the last few years. They are always a great team to work with. Eric has a good focus on people, money and ideas and often has great suggestions to help stay on budget without compromising quality and looks. They are also great with timing and completed our recent project exactly when promised. I would highly recommend this team and look forward to working with them again!

We used South Park for a commercial project at our venue in Toronto. We were really happy with our results. Because se needed to minimize the amount of time that we were closed to the public, time was really of the essence. South Park performed about about 4 months worth of work in just 4 weeks at the end of August. They were responsive to changes as they inevitably arose as the project progressed. The team helped us piece together design options based on aesthetic goal and our budget. The South Park team worked well with our architect, consulting with him whenever necessary.The fast timeline was made possible by the high caliber of the trades people that SP brought to the project and the excellence of communication flow between SP, us, our designers and the trades. The transparency of the financials made it possible to make decisions quickly and to stay on track with the budget as changes arose. Detailed financial documentation was provided.

We had a wonderful experience working with South Park on a small home renovation. In addition to the normal construction challenges, we have 2 big dogs and 2 small kids, and the team was conscientious, courteous, hard-working and efficient. They were also very accommodating when we added new tasks to their list, and they got to the bottom of problems that had plagued our house for years. We would highly recommend working with them, and we hope to do so again in the future.

This project was a complete renovation of a 1914 built semi-detached house and came in on budget. There were some surprises, like cast-iron pipe below grade, lead-pipe water supply, some studs not attached at ceilings and two hornet nests in exterior walls. We had on-going information discussions so that we were involved and informed as project progressed. We were allowed to purchase cabinets instead of having them constructed at significant cost reduction. We are thrilled at the beautiful home that Southpark created for us. This was our second project with South Park. The first one was a gut/remodel job in 2005, now we are building an addition, backyard, and some inside renos. The team was great both times. Very experienced, highly available, and hands-on with sub trades. They also have a great design esthetic. The second time around, we skipped the designer and just collaborated with them. Two thumbs up.

South Park built us a laneway house in downtown Toronto in six months during the pandemic and with very few hiccups. They were great from the beginning to the end of our project. They were always attentive and delivered everything they promised, including helping us get through unexpected challenges.I can't say enough about how great the whole team is.Thank you.

South Park has just completed a major renovation of my 30-year-old condo. They gutted and rebuilt the kitchen, and updated the living room, entry hall, laundry and master bath. Tanya and Eric are thorough professionals. They patiently worked with me for more than a year to scope and plan the project in detail. Once construction began it proceeded on schedule and on budget. Eric's tradespeople were always ready to answer my questions and the quality of their work exceeded my expectations. I couldn't be happier with the results.

This past year we renovated our home, pretty well down to the studs, we were in the best hands with South Park. Eric and Matt have built a wonderful team that is incredibly thoughtful to detail, organized, and professional. We feel incredibly lucky to have created our home with their support. They are determined to find solutions that leave everyone satisfied, and they were always on top of all moving parts. They are super experienced, and it really shows in the way they manage and execute a project. Honest good people, anyone entering the chaos that is a home reno is lucky to have them steering the ship.

South Park built my home snd exceeded expectations. We were hoping to get gold LEEDS status and we achieved platinum LEEDS status. I get rave reviews from everyone who comes to my home. It is due to the quality build and the attention to detail. It is over 8 years that my home was built and Eric and Matt still take an active roll to help if I have any concerns. I know I can always count on them!

We would highly recommend South Park Design Build. Just completed a major renovation of our 100 year old house including digging down, underpinning, and finishing our previously unfinished basement to increase our family's living space. And removing all the walls on the main floor to create a more spacious, modern look. Matt and Eric were great throughout the process with Matt being especially helpful on managing the details of this complex project. All the work was very high quality and the communication throughout the process was easy and honest. The budget changed a bit throughout the project as we either added, removed, or changed certain aspects of the renovation but not only did we not go over the initial budget, but we received a cheque back from South Park at the end for some left over unused money. And at our last meeting they told us just to call if any problems come up in the future as time goes by and we start using the new spaces. So refreshing to work with a company that is honest, thorough, trustworthy, and cares about their customers.
