We booked and paid for row 1l and 1m and the staff gave our seats to someone else. We had to sit behind a wall where we couldn't see. Row 1 is up front. I am so incredibly disappointed with the way that they dealt with this. I won't be back. I don't recommend this trip to anyone. They did similar to another person who wasn't told her seat faced backwards. My view of the wall vs the view I should've gotten.

A fun way to travel between Seattle Washington and Victoria BC. We booked the Vista Panama seats, worth the upgrade. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you want a stamp in your passport when arriving in Victoria you need to ask. We booked the hotel and the hop-on-hop-off bus through FRS Clipper.

To be fair when I took the Clipper from Victoria to Seattle the weather was less than optimal... That being said the water was rough enough that about a quarter of the people on board got sea sick and 100% of us were anxious about capsizing. The crew was very professional and kept people calm. Still that is a ride that should have been postponed or cancelled due to safely concerns.

Think it's overpriced but there are no good alternatives, I got the vista panoramic seat and don't think it was worth the cost over the regular seats.Only cold food served and lines get really long, don't get why they haven't made food service efficient. There's table service but if you're not at your table when they come around your chance is goneSeats are more or less comfortable, definitely better than airline seats + you get a laptop tray.Travels pretty fast and was on-time, but immigration took forever. Another benefit to getting the cheapest seats is you get to immigrate first, go figure.

Fabulous trip on the clipper to Victoria for the weekend. All staff was friendly and helpful, trip was smooth. Removed 1 star because customs arriving in Victoria was very slow... Took quite a while to out, and i was traveling in the first group with no luggage. Maybe it is what it is, but when driving across with a Nexus is so quick, i thought it would be faster.

We traveled on the comfort class. It was easy and quick to get on and off the clipper as usual. The instructions were great. They walk around to take orders for drinks and food - you have to pay for it. Simple drinks, including soda, water, coffee, and teas are complimentary. Seasickness pills are given as well.

This was an enjoyable way to get to and from Victoria. It's not too long (about 3 hours) and boarding goes relatively quickly. There is no in-seat charging or satellite for Internet access so bring a book or podcast. Use the assigned seating to nab a window seat with a table!Having a galley is a nice addition and there are plenty of restrooms. Seats are a bit tight on the main deck, but perfectly serviceable. It occasionally stops for whale watching and offers some wonderful views.

Booked a 2 way from Seattle to Victoria Island. Return was scheduled at 5:30pm same day. We're in Canadian territory and my cell service was barely working being from the US. They apparently sent out an email during our trip saying they're moving up the return to 5pm and expect me to be aware of it. After I got there they tried to tell me it is my fault and that my only option is to stay overnight and return the next day at 5pm (3 hour ferry ride and my flight home is at 8pm the next day) or I can take a bus to another ferry an hour away, go to Vancouver then take greyhound 3 hours to Seattle. If you're moving your return the least you can do is confirm people are aware considering they might not have Canadian cell service or even a phone. Maybe let them know when they arrive to Victoria. This was horribly handled and their first response was this was nonrefundable. Thanks to another worker for figuring out another way instead of staying on the island but I expected better.

One-way Victoria Clipper ferry ride from Victoria Harbor to Seattle. An upgrade to Comfort Class was $30, for a total of around ~$160. On our Saturday evening trip only ~170 seats were occupied of the nearly 270 available. Both the customer service staff in the terminal, and the onboard staff were terrific; very helpful and polite!Lots of room on board to spread out and a nice table fixed (it does not fold away) in front of the seats to get work done. There is no WiFi onboard but with AT&T cell service, I was able to maintain connectivity throughout the 2+30 trip. Note: there are no electrical outlets onboard so ensure your gadgets are charged up before departure. There is an food available onboard including a snacks and sandwiches, although nothing offered appealed to me so I cannot comment on quality or taste. Free soft drinks and chips in Comfort Class kept my blood sugar up during the relatively short trip.Fast, comfortable, and direct, it was a fun passage I will definitely make again.
