Went here for dinner and ordered the pork belly al pastor taco, the sweet potato taco, and the tuna ceviche tostado. The tuna ceviche was by far the best, it showcased the tuna and had good flavours. However all three portions were small for the price I paid for each taco (6.50-9.50 per taco). I also thought that there was not enough seasoning or sauce on the al pastor and sweet potato tacos and found them both underwhelming. I was hungry after so I also got the chips and guac, those items were pretty good, chips were clearly made in house but gauc could have used some more toppings. Friends got some drinks but I chose not to because I wasn’t feeling well, the drinks were tasty from what they told me. I liked the atmosphere of the place and the service was good, they were quick to come out with drinks and refilled water frequently. I would go back only for drinks, not for dinner.

I have been to several restaurants throughout the GTA and surrounding areas as well as outside the province and country. I have to say, the CHICKEN NACHOS are absolutely delicious. It's filled with fresh ingredients, flavor, spice, guacamole, and some delicious chicken with enormous flavor and taste. I was here over a year ago and stumbled upon this shareable dish. When I returned, it was exactly or even better than I remembered it.The freshness of the dish is absolutely on point. It came out of the kitchen in the perfect amount of time. It was warm throughout the entire time while eating. The cheese was nicely melted and distributed throughout. And plenty of chicken and other ingredients nicely placed throughout.The chips were warm and crispy throughout.This is a favorite of mine, and based on that dish, they earned a 5.The staff was also very polite and friendly. Drinks were good and lots to choose from. There are plenty of different daily specials throughout, including happy hour on drinks and foods.Nice location with the exception of the current infrastructure, which is taking place at this time.I will be back again.

We recently celebrated my friend's birthday at La Carnita, and it was a delightful experience! The restaurant itself is visually stunning, and their extensive taco menu offers a variety of tempting options. We decided to start with their nachos, and upon our request, the server graciously provided us with extra cheese, which elevated the dish to a whole new level of deliciousness. The drinks we ordered were also quite satisfying.

Nice spot. Really enjoyed the queso dip with chorizo. The scorpion wings were also some of the best I’ve ever had. The sauce on them was straight fire. Cali salad didn’t have enough greens. The tacos were a little underwhelming - not bad though. They have an option to change the soft tortilla into tostadas which I might take advantage of next time. Churros were 10/10. Our server Kiran was friendly and professional.

Stopped here for a drink And our experience was very nice. Pam who was our server took great care of us and she was very helpful in choosing our drinks and the food. The nacho was huge and extremely filling. The guacamole and the chicken were very tasty and fresh. The drinks on the other hand were amazing. The margarita was really good and smooth and tasted so good.Overall a great experience and will definitely come back.

The overall vibe of the place is pretty good. However, we found it to be a bit expensive for the food/drinks served. I have to mention that the Pollo Frito tacos were really good. Probably the winner for me among everything we ordered. The cocktails were kinda just okay-ish. Service was good when our server changed later on. Wouldn't say it was an amazing experience overall , but it was just okay.

I really love the service last Monday evening. The guy server around 6pm was phenomenal. The food was okay. Its a bit pricey but I enjoyed my experience there. Please please please improve the guacamole tho. Its my none nego when it comes to mexican places.

The staff/service was amazing. Always checking up to see if we needed to order more items or just to have a conversation about the food. Even though it was a little packed we never felt that we were being ignored. The food was great, but we found the chicken a little too dry, but the corn and crunch wrap along with the pork belly taco’s , really flavourful.

Decent food, some better than others. The tacos are hit or miss so make sure you know exactly what you want. The nachos are delicious and so is the corn. The drinks were alright. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, which creates a really positive and friendly environment.

They have multiple locations, this one in Midtown is not that packed as the downtown one.Food is great, and you've a variety of options to select from. Margaritas are in point as well.They have a separate menu for downstairs, mainly consisting of small plates. If you're hungry than ground level is the recommended place. They have louder music downstairs. There is a patio just by the street as well.Overall ambience is pretty cool as well.
