Ice Cream Mountain
I was so excited to visit ice cream mountain, I drove all the way from Cowichan. I waited until 11:15am and no one came to open the shop. The hours listed online say 11am-10pm every day and this is clearly not true. No hours were posted on the exterior of the building so I could come at a later time and there were no updates on your Facebook page about this. Very disappointed.

Ice cream mountain was a descent placeGood prices, he filled the waffle cone then 2 huge scoops on top of that. $6.50 bucksGood prices, lots of selection. Had the caramel cookie dough. Dessert before dinner. Was awesome. Nice owner, good people. Took a walk thru the 3 acres in the back as well. Cool place. Enjoyed itWorth a visit

It truly is a mountain of ice cream! Lots of flavors to choose from, generous double scoop cones, and a nice little outdoor seating area.

While the ice cream is yummy, ( we stop there frequently ) my daughter opted for a Diet Pepsi , as well. She said it tasted weird, and checked the bottom of the can. It expired in 2018!Also had a photo of Ray Charles on the can, which came out in 2018. Only a mere 5 years old lol . Owners may want to check on that …Highly recommend the ice cream though !

Used to go here with my girlfriend and family and was greeted by the owners who loved to make sure the cones were filled properly, went there today and was very dissapointed by the younger lady who just put the scoop on the cone and didnt put any inside the waffle cone. This is why I went here over anywhere else is because they actually care to fill the cone!

Service is inconsistent.. we happened to visit twice in a week . First experience was awesome that took us again there but this time ice cream was almost melting and wasn’t served properly in the cone that it dropped as soon as I took my first bite. We will definitely stop by again on that route but would double check before buying .

Hidden gem! The proprietor was lovely as was the ice cream. Perfect post hiking treat. Highly recommend!
