I recently returned my Uhaul to this location and while pulling in, I scrapped against a pole. The owner was incredibly helpful getting us sorted and on our way. He even gave us a chance to clean out the back instead of just charging us. I would definitely go here again!

I bought a product there (original packaging was already open) which did not work after testing it once. When I reported this to the seller, I was yelled at and accused of having broken the product myself. I was not offered a customer-oriented solution, only one that would benefit the seller (e.g. I was advised to put an additional $100 on top for another product, although he cannot tell me whether this will work)...upon further inquiry, whether I At least my money would be refunded, the salesman would have freaked out, banged on the counter and got loud again- very professional...he must have known his product didn't work

Thad is a crook!!!! Ordered $1072 worth of solar equipment and have received nothing… he lies and avoids phone calls… off to small claims court. Avoid doing business with this thief…

BUYER BEWARE! I am writing this review chosing words carefully, as legal action is underway. I purchased and had fitted a full solar system, which due to faulty equipment and fitting (using cheap, illegal wires), caught fire within a week. It burned and melted the wiring throughout my RV, causing a fire under the hood and the solar system to fail. It also melted and ruined my existing rv wiring that ran adjacent and fried my battery (it wasn't even in use at time, I was driving and it caught fire!) A live wire was left dangling 2 inches from the metal hood, which in itself was obviously extremely dangerous. Myself and my dog were lucky to escape unscathed. The damage caused is much more than I paid for the entire solar system. The owner, Thad, has refused to help rectify the matter and is blaming the installer, although installation was provided by him and completed at his store the day after purchase. The installer is unreachable on number provided and I suspect is not qualified as either an electrician or solar installer. Do yourself a favour and stay away from this place. This could have been a headline story if someone up there wasn't looking after me. Total incompetence and disregard for safety by store owner, who really couldn't care less. Visa is currently giving me a full refund but the additional costs the damage caused are considerable. Purchasing from here is false economy and dangerous. I cannot stress enough...GO ELSEWHERE!!*ADDITION.I have just seen the response by Thad and I'm astounded. There was no response from him at all. There was no offer to put anything right. I will be posting the text messages which I saved. The system was fitted and I drove off without ever using it. The drive was from golden to revelstoke and it melted before I arrived. It was not in use and not overloaded. It was a 700 watt system. Thad, you had better remove this comment calling me a liar before I take further legal action for defamation and libel. The way you responded shows everyone who you are!DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. PLEASE SEE COPY OF THE TEXTS I HAVE POSTED. THAD IS A LIAR WITHOUT INTEGRITY.

Be careful boxes are open the inverter doesn’t work and they just shout at me i would use it wrong.500 watt inverter with an mac book….

Be careful if you ever do business owner thad ... i dont know about his shop but i bought something from him on the internet send him the money and then ..no news he wont answer nothing... so think twice before doing business with him read all the advice carefully

Use extreme caution when doing business with Thad. Seemed friendly but our experience was not positive. Gave a $300 deposit to hold an item for 72 hours. 30 hours later, told him we're not going to purchase. He continually assured returning the deposit which never came. He has stopped responding altogether. Be Very Careful.

FIVE STAR SERVICE. Thad is an awesome guy!! Filled up my RV propane tank and even included a plastic valve cover that had fallen off. Service couldn’t have been any better. If you need propane...STOP HERE!

Arrived after hours, and the owner was still there, serving his customers with a great smile. Thank you for saving our weekend with a fresh fill of barbeque propane.

Thank you to the amazing team at Free Energy for our solar-powered system that we got for our RV. We finally got the time to Try it out and everything worked great. Price was good, salesperson (Thad) was friendly, responsive and knowledgeable in solar! And the install was done in a timely manner.Thanks again.
