This is a high end sugar shack serving first rate artery clogging, diabetic coma inducing fare. There's plenty of choices in the buffet line as well as the dessert line. All the food choices look very fresh and appetizing. Everything we ate was extremely tasty and perfectly prepared. The sugar pie is outstanding. There is a wonderful ambiance in the log cabin style dining room featuring a crackling fireplace and plenty of windows to enjoy the views. The staff is very friendly and attentive. A tad on the pricy side but you normally wouldn't go to a sugar shack more than once or twice a year.

This is my favorite sugar shack and let's not forget their delicious desserts. Enjoyed the wonderful house drawn sleigh ride through the picturesque forest.

This was a very enjoyable experience at a Cabane a Sucre. Friendly, impeccable service and the buffet style was delicious. Thank you, Merci Mes Ami au Gallant. We'll be back.

I enjoyed my time here arrived with reservation for 12 and the buffet was plenty with alot of delicious maple products my one criticism was the pea soup entree the peas didnt feel cooked through they were quite hard.

Food was good. Trays were refilled often so always tasted fresh and delicious!Price includes the buffet + sleigh ride + taffy on the snow.We paid the full price however there was no sleigh rides offered, there was nobody doing the taffy, just maple syrup that had been sitting outside the entire time we were eating.The staff kept repeatedly asking if we were finished with our plates while we were still eating, we felt very rushed the entire time.Maybe this is because it was the last weekend that the sugar Shack was open, however if we don't get the full experience should we really have to pay the full price?Or if they can't offer the full experience, maybe don't stay open this long in the season?That's my feedback. Food was good, but will be looking for other sugar shacks next season!

Great food and variety for a sugar shack meal. Reservations are made online beforehand, tickets are about 50$ per person after tax. Worth the price for the meal once a year.

I place 2 orders for a 2 person vegetarian box. The first box I received had 2 individual size quiches and 2 individual size sugar pies, no potatoes and no sausages. The second box I got later in the season one had 1 individual quiche and 1 individual sugar pie. I called to inquire why there was a difference in the boxes, but the manager was unavailable" to take my call. I placed another call a couple of days later and had to leave another message. 1 week later I had still not heard back. It's clear that the manager of Sucrerie des Gallant couldn't care less about the clients or their concerns..I honestly think that $75 for 1 individual quiche and sugar pie to share is a little ridiculous.. The only reason I got a second box was because I thought it would reflect the first (which was also missing items). I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND buying a box from Sucrerie des Gallant. Its far overpriced
