Ducati Chelmsford

Hello and welcome everyone to my review of this dealership for the Italian bike manufacturer.The management in MY opinion at Chelmsford need extensive customer satisfaction training as a brilliant dealer like A well known bike shop at Ipswich have in vast quantities.Before I received my SFV4 at only 1200 miles they had to service it,when I got home in the rain it was more than obvious that an incompetent (mechanic at this branch) had upturned the rear brake fluid reservoir cap and on ride home had leaked down gold clutch case through cap threads as I found out the next morning.Various components were damaged by brake fluid leak(I am a highly qualified engineer).Whatever pathetic reply the company at Chelmsford that sell Italian red motorcycles say in reply is of course complete RUBBISH. Of course I would not leave a bad review if it wasn’t true.I would be more than happy to prove this.They have requested a £100 fee to pick my bike up and review the damaged I have already provided to TWO very recent sales persons thatnumber 1-sold me the bikeNumber 2-only stayed with company a week or so after me completely repeating the issue as number 1 employee email conversations with me were NOT retrieveable apparently buy DUCATI CHELMSFORD. VERY ODD as a customer!The company who have taken £17000 off me don’t want to keep me coming back-very sad if you ask me.The dealership can hide behind any sad reply they offer but I can assure you as a potential customer that I would gladly discuss my experience with anyone if they will let me.KindRegardsMr R Ellis.

Awful customer service, bike was mistreated and damaged during a prolonged repair taking close to a year, which took 3.5 Hours on invoice. They will lie openly to avoid responsibility. I just wish id bought my new bike from somewhere else, hindsight.

Disgraceful, abysmal customer service. Bike was in a sorry state after being with them. 10 months of having no bike due to Hyside’s excuses and inability to accept responsibility.

First time Ducati purchase made today.Hypermotard rve..great experience all round. Nick has been absolutely superb. Excellent communication throughout and even managed to get the bike ready 2 days early dispite lots of pressure. 5 stars well earned.

Fantastic guys as always, they alway make my bike feel brand new again. They're friendly, great to talk to, offer advice.. and the cafe makes for a great visit whether you need your bike looked at or just to socialise. Thanks guys.

Fantastic dealer! I stayed loyal after they moved from London to Maldon which is nearly an hour away from my house - this should tell you everything you need to know.Clearly they have an excellent standing with Ducati since my full service history with Hyside has saved me multiple times; Peter and Scott are great blokes and helped me with several warranty claims long after my warranty expired.No hard selling and always great service with a smile. Great choice of bikes and accessories and nice cafe. Highly recommend!
