FANTASTIC food! Staff and waiters were very friendly and knowledgeable, made good recommendations for meals.Price wise was good/fair, especially given what we ordered. Gotta have the Mermaid dinner, the scallops were to die for!

Highly recommend! We stopped in on our way through as we wanted a quick lunch on our way back home and we are glad we did. Fish was cooked perfectly, batter was excellent. Club was great, bacon crispy just the way I like it. $56 for two meals, side dips and 2 milk shakes. If we lived here it would definitely be our go-to spot!

Group of 4 from out of province. Waited 1.5 hours for our food. No one came to check on us, no one offered refills. Our waitress left before our food even arrived. There excuse was the fish was over cooked. There were 2 orders of fish & chips, an app of bacon wrapped scallops and the seafood special. Not impressed and absolutely will not be back. Tables after us served and left. Unacceptable on all accounts especially since it was over 120 for all 4 of us.

Seafood Chowder was fantastic! Fish and chips battered to perfection. Seafood Alfredo was spectacular. Great portion size, tons of seafood included and reasonably priced. Certainly got our moneys worth. Service was lovely, very friendly.

Lunch was very nice, fish and chips, the waitress Cheryl was very attentive, helpful and pleasant, cost of lunch for two was reasonable and we will be going to eat there again.Update: I went a Second time and this time I want to see a vegetarian option was available and I was not disappointed, a veggie burger and fries well made severed with great server service. Kudos

I love the seafood chowder, which is served with a fresh bun. Large pieces of battered fish so only get a one-piece fish and chips if you aren't really hungry. Efficient server in a very busy restaurant. Sunday people were waiting for someone to leave this busy restaurant so they could be seated.

Waves was my favorite place for battered fish and chips until the other day. My son and I had a 1 pc fish and chips each. While his piece was beautiful, white and fresh, my piece was grey and had a fishy smell. Very obviously previously frozen. When I mentioned to the waitress how disappointed I was with being served frozen fish she said, not frozen, maybe from the day before. Having worked in the restaurant industry, I know what frozen fish looks like. Needless to say, since she denied the obvious, it will be my last visit to Waves.

Wow wow wow what can I say about their fish and chips it was the best fish and chips I had in Canada by far. Our waiter was really friendly and our food was delicious we would definitely come back when in bridgewater. If you are looking for a good fish and chips then this is the place to go. Highly recommended.

I had the 3 piece fish and chips. I know my fish and chips and this was the best ever. I had 3 large pieces and lots of fries and cold slaw and tartar sauce. The waitress was excellent. My wife had the excellent stir fry. She tried my fish and ended up eating half of it. You will not be served frozen fish from who knows where here. You get fresh out of the water Haddock with a light home made batter that is to die for. Take my word folks order the 3 piece of fish and chips and be prepared to get stuffed full. I had to ask for a second plate to place the fish while eating my fries. Summary: E X C E L L E N T Fish & Chips. Look at this makes me hungry again for this platter. Thanks to the front desk folks at the Comfort Inn for telling us to eat here.

I wasn't very impressed with the small portion of sweet potato fries... I paid 8 bucks for a side of sweet potato fries and maybe got one sweet potato worth of fries.I also got some fish and The fish was very greasy. The fries where hard and over cooked. I tried to call to complain and no one even answered the phone.I'm very disappointedI won't be returning or recommending.
