It's not hard to believe all the poor reviews, as I have also had a terrible experience. The team delivered considerably less than a subpar experience. Next year I will be doing them myself. Don't waste your time going here.

Customer service not a priority. Sent my tax documents to Mr. Miles on Feb 13. No acknowledgment. Followed up on 27th. No acknowledgment. Spoke to office staff Jillian about a week later who said she would get back to me. Nothing. This has delayed my filing by 4+ weeks which is a significant financial disadvantage to me. Good bye MCO partners. I will never call on you again and I will tell anyone who asks to avoid your services.

I've been with this firm for 4-5 years. For the first couple of years everything was great. Somehow the service has been horrible in the last couple of years.After I paid my taxes for 2022 based on their filing, CRA asked me for more money. I called my tax guy. He said he was going to check. I never got a call back. I had to call again. He didn't seem to know what I was talking about. Then he told me that the extra payment required by CRA was due to the fact that I didn't pay instalments. When CRA asked me for instalments in the past, I called this guy and he told me don't worry about it. Now he's saying he never said that.This is just an example. I have no idea what happened to this guy. He was super nice and friendly in the past. For some reason, he changed. I honestly have to say he has been a very different person in the past couple of years in a bad way. I have felt I'm walking on egg shells when dealing with him. I have been super nice but only to receive horrible services. After all I am their client and their charges aren't cheap. Now I am very happy that I don't need to deal with him any more!!!

I am a cross border RN. Andrew Prevett over the last few years has helped me undo what my previous tax preparer who was not an accountant did with my file. CRA advised I owed close to forty thousand dollars which was in fact false. Andrew is extremely easy to talk to, is very professional and explains everything in depth. I am now in Hamilton and I drove to Windsor this year just to have Mr Prevett do my taxes. Very professional accountant and firm. I have recommended other Cdn colleagues to come to MCO Partners. If you want to owe $5,000 in taxes go ahead and deal with this awful firm. I delt with Kyle Dobric, who not only did a horrible job at filing my taxes, also completely ignored me after I clearly needed help. I am currently dealing with a REAL professional who knows what he's doing and correcting Kyle Dobric's mistake. This place has absolutely no idea what they are doing and could care less about saving you money on taxes. Once they get paid, you will never hear from them again, just the CRA wanting to collect money from you.

Ian and AJ took over our personal and corporate taxes after our last CPA (who we used for 8 years) burned us during COVID. We are so pleased with their work and expertise. They promptly respond to phone calls, emails and are happy to answer our questions (as redundant or silly as they may be) in a timely and professional manner. For years before MCO, I used 2 huge accounting firms to file my taxes because I needed US/Canada. The first one quoted me a price then charged me 5x the quote in the end without explanations, I almost had to sue them had a partner not gotten involved. The second one would inflate my invoices according to my income without explanation, even though work was the same, it was super frustrating but I didn't feel like I could go anywhere else because so few companies had cross border experience. MCO came as a recommendation to me from another entrepreneur - I can't tell you how incredible this experience has been with them. They're communicative, on the ball, knowledgable - and cost effective. Finally, there's an accounting firm that charges appropriately for their time and not screw their customers based on their income and net worth. I'd highly recommend Ian, AJ, and their team.

Not worth the time wasted. Kyle Dobric @ Tax MCO rarely replies to emails or phone calls.I sent numerous emails requesting for an overdue Tax Document that is needed to be submitted to the CRA and its been over 2 months with still no reply.Note, Kyle gave me a higher priced quote (1.5x) on the document but failed to actually follow through with delivery.Tax MCO seems friendly and responsive when you first sign up - but that behaviour quickly changes over time.I filed my US / Canada taxes with them before but I will not file my taxes with them again.Very unprofessional.
