To say this is a beautiful campground doesn't put it strongly enough. This place is literally on the Bay of Fundy, with one of the most beautiful views I haven in my life, potentially from your campsite, depending where your site is at. The campground itself is clean, quiet and well-maintained. There's a nice playground for the kids. Showers cost a dollar for 5 minutes, and the restrooms are well-maintaned latrines. I would camp here again in a minute. Love this place.

The park was a very nice place to stay. The facilities need an upgrade and made more useable for older people.

Loved this campground. The host was awesome and talked with us. I would highly recommend this campground. We enjoyed ourselves and it was a very pleasant experience and peaceful campground.

This is a beautiful campground and good proximity to a litany of great things to see. Parrsboro is a cute quaint town as well. My complaint is with the customer service experience. We arrived at a time that it had been raining for 5-6 days in a row. After a long day of driving we arrived and we’re told that our reserved site was a grassy site and it was flooded. Based on this we were faced with either moving on when we were already tired or going to an alternate site. The entire reason we opted to book here was because of site 54 where we were hoping to relax for a few days. Of the two bad choices we chose to stay and parked in an alternate site and proceeded to work on our schedule. Since we weren’t able to get the site we wanted we didn’t want to stay the full time. We were very up front with Judy that we likely would be leaving early and we did leave two days early. Based on discussions with Judy and the circumstances of our stay we fully anticipated no problem with a refund for the two days we did not stay. I called to ask about the refund which had not been applied and Judy quoted chapter and verse of the refund policy on their website and refused to accommodate our refund request, Pretty shocking given the fact she didn’t even call us ahead of our arrival to let us know of the problems with our chosen site. If she had we almost certainly would have altered our plans. As stated this is a great location for views but the customer service demonstrated was abysmal. Be careful.

The pros: The location and access to the beach is fantastic. It's very quiet, yet close to the town if you want to enjoy the amenities there. Very clean, and the grounds are very well maintained. The cons: Too many seasonal campers and they all have the best views. No wastewater at the sites. Bathrooms are an outhouse. You have to pay for showers. The last two are particularly frustrating since they don't have waste water at the RV sites. No canteen on site. We'll likely still visit again, so the pros outweigh the cons, but I think there's room for improvement.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Some nicer washrooms would've made the stay even better.

Camping review. Been here many times, as discussed in many reviews - the thing that would put this CG into amazing is1. Add full-service sites.2. Get rid of those gross, outhouses.3. Having said that - well worth the stay..... if you want full-service checkout Spencer's Island's OLD SHIPYARD CAMPGROUND.
