Pets west is a great place to source raw products for your pets. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and as a bonus they adopt out rescued cats and kittens (ask for a card). Do not expect to buy cheap grocery store brand food here. Raw is the way to go :)

Honestly my favourite pet store. I travel from Langford to go here. Amazing and knowledgeable staff, and a really great selection of quality products.Heather was especially helpful for us in figuring out a diet for our picky puppy - she wasn't biased to any particular style of feeding, just educated us and helped us find the best choice for our pup.

I have been going to Pets West frequently since I got my adorable kitten 5 months ago. I find the products they carry to be of good quality and the pricing is generally quite affordable. The staff are friendly, caring, helpful, and really know what they are doing! If you are in the neighbourhood and have a pet, or need a Christmas gift, Pets West is worth a look!

Owner has no idea what he’s talking about so don’t expect the staff too. Not only do they pressure you to buy raw but also only promote they’re own brands when other brand are clearly better. They carry basically nothing. Staff is friendly, only upside.

Lovely staff and lots of treats and beautiful collars and leashes and toys on the shelves. I used to buy my dog food (Royal Canin and Science Diet) here. But then they changed owners and now they don’t carry ANY of the WSAVA Guideline compliant pet foods. Just boutique diets. So I have had to go elsewhere. I am very disappointed.

Store very easy to shop and also very clean.Good size kitten adoption area for the two that were currently available.Staff were nice and i was greeted on my way in!Good selection of both lower grade and higher grade food for cats!Thank you! Will be back!

I've been with my dog for 12 years now and pets west is one of the top 2 pet stores we have been too. Everyone I've dealt with knows their stuff and if they don't they are willing to find out the answer. I'm always asked if I need anything. We love this place!

I have been a long time customer at Petswest. It was a family feel when you walked in and greeted. I was in the other day and met the new owner. He was trying to sell me his product instead of the one I always get.Not impressed with his customer service skills. I then noticed that many of my favorite staff were gone. It seems the store was bought out by a company out east. They are eliminating alot of their products including dog beds?I understood many staff have quit due to this new company taking over and that family feeling is now gone. I will not be returning to this store.
