Locally owned and a great place . Fast food cooked when you order it, not sitting under a warming lamp. Service is excellent and always friendly. Corn fritters are excellent and there are lots of other choices.

The food is really good and consistent. Never had anything that wasn't fresh. My only complaint is they close early and a little pricey. That said, if you're looking for good fast food, they have good signature burger flavors you won't find anywhere else around here. I'm addicted to their mushroom and pomo burgers ;p

Just like the burger baron burgers I enjoyed as a younger lad. Sauce and great taste as I remembered. Service is always 5 star and very friendly. Gets busy at lunch as it should as it's delicious and worth the wait. Baroness burger in my photo.

Didn't know they had donairs here, not bad but not mind blasting. Tasty enough to finish it all and would probably order it over a burger here. Would I come back solely for the donair? Probably not as there are many quality donair shops around that are better bang for your buck. My donair meat here was slightly on the dry side and finely shredded. My preference would be longer strips of meat but that's not a biggie. The portions were generous and tasted decent.

Understand where you're about to eat, and then go eat there and enjoy!Burger Baron is an Alberta institution. Each one is independently owned an operated, so each one is a little different. Burger Baron is a family run business and you can tell that the food is made by real people, real Albertans. It's a local mom & pop shop of the best kind.If you're trying to get in and out in 2 minutes with industrial food products from some multinational mega-chain at the cheapest possible price, you can get that slop anywhere. But if you want good, fresh food from a locally owned and operated family business at fair prices, then this is a great place to get a burger, or fried chicken, or donair, or a milk shake, or whatever!

Everything I expected from Burger Baron. A tasty Salisbury burger, and a shared Pomo burger with my Dad which I really enjoyed - can't believe I avoided that burger before. And then when we finished our sodas, we both had a rum & butter shake. MMM-MMM was it good! The atmosphere was also expected - the drive-thru was busy, but the restaurant lobby was not. It was clean though. And the washrooms were decent too.

I did not enter the premises so I gave the atmosphere a one-star however it's still a five, I just have to be real when I do these posts. I have loved Burger Baron since 1987, that's a long time probably gives my age away a little too LOL. I recommend if you want a good burger experience, good onion rings, they used to make great shakes and I don't know if they still do or not, then Burger Baron is your place!

This photo is that of Burger Baron's Canadian Burger. The photo does not do this burger justice, as it tastes better than what you see. The only thing that I would have done differently on this visit is to get the double:) I am really glad that this Burger Baron is still in business, as most others in Edmonton have closed down overs the years. I hope that you will be open for many more years to come. I also snapped a photo of their gumball machine where if you get the black gumball, you get a free Burgess Burger:) Thank you Burger Baron staff for the excellent food, service, and for providing a pleasant atmosphere for your customers.

Always a tasty treat. The corn fritters with jam are an absolute must try! Ordering/getting your food takes a little longer because they make everything fresh once you order ... but that just makes it extra yummy.
