Amazing, friendly, knowledgeable staff at this butcher shop. Located at the west side of Kingston, this well stocked medium sized butcher shop has not just beautiful fresh cuts of meats, the shop also has the best single portion sized frozen savory pies in this end of Ontario (mushroom steak is my fave), and other grocery items like dried pasta, choices of spices, soups and a small steam table with ready to eat options.I love coming here for my steaks. I can always find the cut/s I'm looking for. The butcher is always friendly and generous with my questions, and have always been happy to custom cut my steaks if I needed. This is not superstore or warehouse grocery store pricing. But coming here, I get to support a local indie shop, get great quality food, and most of all, I get personal attention and unbeatable customer service.

Went here for the first time last week and went back for more steak and mushroom pie and another smoked meat sandwich. Excellent. Very friendly and engaging staff and the pie crusts are delicious! Opa!Ps: I accidentally bought a scotch pie instead of the steak and mushroom pie when I went back but it was really good too!

Excellent local butcher shop. The best precooked chicken wings in town! Bob and Archie are ready to serve you with checky grins and awesome Greek humor.

So I requested prime rib but I think I was sold a AA at most. The picture shows the cut of prime steak from this butcher while on the bottom you see the prime cut from another butcher. Top cut has almost no marbelisation. I did double and triple check asking for prime. Staff were really nice however not sure if they perhaps were aware of their inventory.

We are weekely customers! The steak we had last night was the bomb.com. this a great family ran business, i love going in here just to see a friendly face. Prices are fair and the steak is AWESOME! Thanks again!
