I was there today to have a wisdom tooth removed and can't say anything negative about my experience. The staff was beyond helpful and made me feel very comfortable. I suffer from pretty extreme anxiety and the steps they took to ensure I felt safe was amazing. The procedure itself was done so fast I was amazed and the Dr couldnt of done a better job. I suggest this office to absolutely anyone and especially ones with anxiety. I just want to say thank you for helping me overcome the anxiety I had about the removal and thank you to all the staff for being very friendly and helpful.

Thank you so much Dr. Maslove! I normally am so nervous I can't settle down. Today I was calm. Dr. Maslove and his staff are wonderful, and caring. Took excellent care of me and did an awesome job.

I was there today.The experience was a nightmare.I took my 72 year old father in to have his bottom palate extracted and his new top and bottom dentures put in. He has had nothing but dental trauma his entire life and having already had his upper palate removed previously he was understandably anxious and downright terrified that this would not go well like every other procedure at other dentists.Susan the assistant yelled at us as soon as we opened the UNLOCK office door to check in and take the sedative before the appointment to get OUT. And wait outside. She would not even answer questions. Just told us to leave.Which my dad did. And waiting patiently outside by my car minding his own business.I waited by the building doors for someone to check the hallway for patients.Susan came out and explained that people were not doing their jobs and should have told them all when they booked their appointments to not enter without calling from outside. (Unprofessional to throw a coworker under the bus to the waiting area of patients and their family members).. maybe put a big huge sign. With the phone number to call when you arrive. Like every other business in red deer.Susan called me in about 15 minutes later and asked me to get my dad to take his sedation. While talking to her I apologized if my dad was coming across as gruff in anyway as he was nervous and scared he just needed some compassion and understanding. To which she replied I don't appreciate the way he talked to me. Welllllll. She never let go. She was rude and abrasive from that point on.There was another patient leaving and settling her bill at the counter and while waiting for her paperwork she spoke briefly in a friendly way to my dad. Susan interrupted them and said we are not supposed to have so many people within our space so do not chitchat and move along with your business so that we can move on with ours". With much eye rolling and a big aggrevated sigh.Yes it is covid... we were all wearing masks and she was probably 8 feet from us. The situation did not call for such rudeness.Fast forward to the procedure...The TV was blaring when we walked into his dental proceedure room. And after he was laid back in the dental chair the TV volume started to irritate his tinnitus so he asked me to turn it off.I did and not even a minute later susan came in to the room demanding to know WHO TURNED THAT TV OFF AND WHY?So I explained that it was hurting my dad's ears. And he didn't need the television on. To which she replied. Good for him. I need it on. And she turned it back on but did turn the volume down to next to nothing.When the dr came in I said to him that I wasn't sure what happened or why his assistant and my dad got off on the wrong foot. And she was very angry and snappy with him. I explained how nervous my father was about the proceedure especially with the way Susan was behaving towards him.I do not feel like he was receptive to the feedback.And I left there feeling like I left my dad as a sacrifice.When I picked him up. They shipped him to the car in a wheelchair. And his teeth in hand. With instructions over their shoulders to go back to the denturist immediately as the dentures did not fit.All in all on a scale of 1-10. I rate them as a zero in patient care and compassion. All they wanted was their thousands of dollars.I do NOT recommend."

Dr. Maslove is fantastic! Saw him today for a back molar extraction. I didn’t feel any discomfort at all, it was quick and painless. He’s informative, professional and got it done in no time. Staff were friendly, office is beautiful and clean. Thank you for fixing my mouth pain :) 10/10

POSITIVES: Reception was warm and welcoming. Dr. Maslove takes his job as a surgeon seriously.NEGATIVES: Reception was very unorganized.One nurse in particular had a terrible attitude and her customer service was very poor.Dr. Maslove was unaware of the way his staff treats his customers when I brought the altercation to his attention. Because of this mishap, I decided when my mouth became infected a month later (due to a piece of tooth that was missed during extraction) to go to my family doctor before going to the dental clinic. My doctor had me then go back to Maslove who was not impressed that I had seen my family doctor first. We argued about this and I explained it was due to the way his staff had treated me previously.I left feeling quite appalled at the whole situation. Both experiences were very unprofessional, the actions of the staff - childish. The overall vibe upon arrival, pre-anesthesia for a person's first time going under is just not worth the stress.Side note, they do not give out post-surgery goodie bags or T3's. I did not receive ice packs, pain medication, tongue scraper, lip chap or any of the goodies other business will send you on your way with.

My son had all 4 wisdom teeth removed December 2021. From the consult to the surgery, Dr. Maslove was good. The day of surgery, the operating room nurse was thorough, and answered all our questions. The recovery nurse was kind and helpful, called me to update on how he was doing, and when she brought him out in a wheel chair, made sure I was already told of the care he needed. Reception was very kind & thorough, but unorganized. The consult appointment I scheduled months before wasn’t booked, but they were able to see us during that time. I waited for a follow up call regarding billing, but ended up calling reception again myself. Possibly the office requires a second administrative staff for the work load. I do recommend this business.

I had 4 wisdom teeth surgically removed on Tuesday as well as one impacted molar removed due to damage from leaving my wisdom teeth in till I could afford the not cheap" procedure. I'm somewhat of "gritty" individual but always found myself nervous and even scared of medical establishments; the staff at masloves office treated me well and made me comfortable and as far as I can tell the procedure went according to plan. I was told beforehand of a possibility of extra charge for extra time and did have to pay more due to a tough tooth or two but I understand you can't predict every scenario. I'm now on day two with some minor pain and discomfort but feel well on my way to recovery. My only issue was they had a list of teeth to remove and had I not read and questioned the document I feel the molar may have been "forgotten". I called various places beforehand and the prices seem to match up to a certain extent even thought alberta dental prices are astronomically high. All in all I can't say anything negative about my experience. If you are able to travel in these unprecedented times I would suggest going to a reputable surgeon in Mexico as they offer wonderful packages with better prices and well its Mexico

My boyfriend went in this weekend to get his wisdom teeth removed and they didn’t book him a follow up appointment or give him a doctors note. His surgery was booked for 2pm and he was in the car by 3:30 they didn’t let him rest after at all. He was extremely nauseous but they didn’t let him stay to see if he was okay. He puked up all his blood clots in the parking lot and when I went back to get more tissues they had locked us out and wouldn’t answer the phone.

Service was awesome starting from the first phone call. Karen was absolutely great to deal with. Appointments were scheduled in a timely manner. The tooth extractions were performed extremely well, with no complications. All staff did an amazing job. I highly recommend.

I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Maslove. He is very straight forward and relax about the procedure. I would assume because he does it regularly and hears a lot of people repeat the same fear. Besides his straight forwardness, he is very good at his job. He did an amazing job removing my wisdom teeth and was willing to answer all my questions. His staff were also very informative and helpful. His receptionist was very warm and understanding.
