St Albert Transmission Centre

This is a great shop, and I've been to many over the decades! Sean and staff have worked on two vehicles for me over the past 18 mos. One job was to find and fix an annoying chassis squeak. The other was to eliminate dashboard trouble lights regarding steering/tire issues. They did outstanding jobs. They are professional and knowledgeable and go the extra mile to ensure things are done right. They display an obvious passion for their work, and give great customer service. I recommend them 100%. Edit Oct 2017 - Just took my car in for a steering wheel vibration. Shawn did great diagnostics and put in one new axle shaft quickly and at a fair price. Great work - again.

Sean and his team are the most professional, honest, and hardworking mechanics I have ever met. Countless times he has saved me hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars by only recommending necessary work that actually needs to be done. They have told me that brakes could wait another year rather than doing the easy job and making that $500 today. Since moving to St. Albert I have used this St. Albert Transmission multiple times. They have helped keep both mine and my partners older vehicles going without adding unnecessary things to work on. Everyone that works tries to get your vehicle in asap and they never charge for silly little hidden' fee's I have gotten at other places. Back in August when I was travelling from Athabasca to Calgary, my car broke down outside of St. Albert, and I had it towed to this centre. Despite it being a very busy week for them (it was right after a long weekend), they made sure to fit in a time to look at my vehicle and see what repairs it needed. Sean was very patient with me every time I called to check in, and took the time to answer my (many!) questions. Not only this, but he took the time to walk me through the different options for the repairs, calling around to get several quotes for parts. They replaced my transmission quickly and at a decent price. Would highly recommend this shop, as they are knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly! Thanks St. Albert Transmission Centre!

Sean is just awesome. He is an honest, preventative mechanic. He tells you how to best care for your vehicle, to avoid more costly problems down the road.. He is always kind and courteous.He is always priced reasonably And explains the charges. I would highly recommend him to anyone with automotive issues!

They have looked after my transmission issues for years with no problems. Kind, helpful and courteous staff.

Did not honor verbal agreement on warranty and won't answer any questions once job is done and they have your money. Charge you for them trying to figure out something and educate there selfs when they said they knew what they were doing. Had my truck for over 2 months and said it was good 3 times each time I picked it up had to bring it back. It was a very big waist of time. Finally the 4th time it works but won't answer me. Highly do not recommend them. Don't be fooled by the other reviews. Do not have them rebuilt a transmission

My truck was dropped off on Wednesday by a tow truck and informed that they had three transmissions before mine and the latest they will get to my truck was early next week. I was called on Friday afternoon just two days later and it was complete!! They have excellent warranty.
