One of the worst lawyers you can find out there sat me down said can beat the charges no issues what’s so ever gonna cost 5k so I gave him 2k up front within a few weeks he was crying for more money I’m guessing to pay for the crack office that is on one of the worst corners in Vancouver that he works out of went there to give it to him in person he looked at my face and told me after he took the 1K more after already taking 2k upfront that he thinks my charges are a waste of time so I ended up firing him on the spot lost out on my 2k upfront and as I was walking out the door I was being told by him that he would sue me for the rest and then after a while he sent me a bill adding up to 2k with all phoney billing’sTrust me stay far far away from this guy as you can

Called to inquire about getting a lawyer regarding cannabis advocacy... Say's they take legal aid,however lawyer I spoke with seemed prejudiced to cannabis charges and now will not accept legal aid. Not an office I would use for a drug charge.

I arrived for my court date to meet my lawyer. I didn't know what he looked like and there were a lot of lawyers milling around at the front of the courtroom, so I asked the sheriff to point him out. This is how I was introduced to Adrian Picard before actually meeting him. I observed him interacting with the other lawyers, and what I saw encouraged me. I could tell that he was not only respected but also liked by his colleagues. I also got the impression that he might be combative if the need arose. All of these impressions were confirmed by my experience with Mr. Picard. He was always straight with me and offered me advice which proved to be worth listening to. He was assigned to me through Legal Aid but I didn't feel less taken care of as a result. Mr. Picard displayed a real boldness, great powers of persuasion and a gift for resourcefulness, in the way he handled my case. I feel strongly that without him I would be waking up in a jail cell rather than my own bed. I cannot recommend him more highly. I certainly hope I won't require legal representation again, but he's the guy I'd go to if I did.
