Laurel is an absolute pleasure to work with! She is extremely passionate and is so amazing at her job! She makes you feel comfortable with each photography session. We had her do both our engagement and wedding photos and couldn't be happier with our decision!

Laurel is so wonderful!!She puts you at ease from start to finish, all while capturing your unique personalities and vision for your session.My fiancé and I were so pleased with our engagement photos! The quality was outstanding and there was a perfect mix of different shots (which was exactly what we had hoped for).There were so many great shots, it was hard to pick our favourites! Laurel was so accommodating, even including our sweet dog in some of our shots! We shot in a few different locations and Laurel was engaging and energetic throughout. Laurel did an absolutely amazing job photographing our special day! As someone who doesn't love being in the spotlight, Laurel made me feel super comfortable and really captured our personalities in her photos. Her enthusiasm is contagious! We hired Laurel for both our engagement shoot and our wedding. The following is my review from our wedding. You can read my engagement shoot review in a separate post.Laurel is not only a talented professional photographer, but she is also hilarious, easygoing, passionate about her work, and super kind. She replies to messages promptly. She is punctual. She makes you feel at ease and you don’t even feel like you are getting your photo taken. It feels effortless.On my wedding day Laurel was a breath of fresh air; like the sun shining on the warmest summer day; that first sip of morning coffee. I couldn’t imagine any other photographer with me to capture all those special moments.Laurel made sure I ate healthy snacks leading up to the ceremony; she carried my makeup touch up kit and other things I wanted near me. She put my veil on when I had no idea how to do it myself. My dress was too long in the front and she used double sided tape to shorten it in the front so I wouldn’t tip down the aisle. So she was not just a photographer but also a good friend who always had my back. This was especially significant to me because my maid of honour/best friend couldn’t attend my wedding last minute because her mother sadly passed away a couple days before.Now, in terms of the photos - WOW! Laurel gets the shot! Every moment you want captured and beyond, Laurel is on it. As a first time bride (and let’s hope a last time bride - HA!), I realized how important it is to have a wedding photographer who knows weddings. It’s not just about the photos but knowing the flow of the day and anticipating things that a first time bride/wedding amateur may not.Laurel delivered sneak peeks less than a week later and I am blown away by them. I cannot wait to receive the rest of the images. I will absolutely reach out to a Laurel anytime I want professional photos taken.

Laurel was our wedding photographer at Muskoka Bay Resort. She was absolutely amazing from the first conversation I had with her to our actual wedding day. My husband and I are not from the Muskoka area, so a month before our wedding day, Laurel was scouting out possible places in the area for our photos. Her energetic and upbeat personality truly made all the difference on our wedding day. She made us feel so comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, and made us laugh all day. It was truly enjoyable working with her. She was also very prompt in sending our “sneak peek” photos after the wedding. The photos turned out stunning and we love her editing style.
