Beautiful history, of pre-WWI Canada Pioneers who immigrated from the Halychyna (aka Galicia) or SW region of Ukraine. Unfortunately, in 1984, this congregation of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church - Downing, merged with the Holy Eucharist UGCC congregation in nearby Stry. Therefore, there are no regular liturgy services nor clergy assigned at this location.
