Walker Woods Parking

(Update) as of Aug 2022, Uxbridge has implemented $6 parking (unless a resident) with a sketchy 3rd party app. Need phone/reception. No parking signs installed on all of Conn Rd 7, no street parking anymore, to force paid parking. Uxbridge does not want you in their township I guess. Better to stay local and use local restaurants where you're wanted for after outing drinks/meals. Parking is much less busy now post C'vid. Even less busy with paid parking.Parking for about 56 vehicles. Can be busy on nice weekends after 9:30am. Street parking available as of time of writing. Access to both Walker Woods & Durham forest.

I've parked here a couple of times over the winter for winter hiking and I was just glad that there was parking available off of the main road.On weekends, you have to get there in the morning if you want to get parking. By the time the early afternoon arrives, it is pretty much full and you will most likely get stuck parking on the road.There aren't any facilities here (i.e. toilet), only nature :)

Convenience

One of my favorite trails! It's very well marked so you won't get lost. There are some hills depending on what route you take. You usually don't see a lot of people even when the parking lot is full. The only issue I have is with the giant parking lot and no washroom. I wish the city would put at least one porta potty in the parking lot.
