This is the worse credit card company is Canada. The interest rate is 45% and I have never missed a payment. The worst and highest rate. In additional to this opressively high interest rate there is an annual fee of $144. Makes no sense, the card does not even have a chip, Only mag-stripe. Worst ever customer service, please do not fall prey to this company. Stay away from Fidem Finance. Worst credit card in Canada with the highest interest rate.

Well after posting being told I’d have to wait 60 days in the mail for a refund check instead of transferring to my bank, and phone calls all the way up to ombudsman, they called me back and agreed to do the bank transfer. The money was returned to my bank a few days later. I appreciate them rectifying it just would have been better if I didn’t need to post a bad review and call multiple people before they did!

Got approved for a card. Never showed. Account began to accrue user fées. Complained. They sent a new card, more fees. Fees reimbursed. 15 business days have passed, no second card. Collectively I’ve waited 31 business days for a card Im 100% sure they never even printed. I now have to bail on a trip I’ve waited three years for because I don’t trust airlines and hotels not to cancel and leave me stranded without a credit card or completely reliant on my friends. Thanks Fidem. If I could give a zero, I would. Please start using expedited shipping or registered mail.

They have been sending me mail for the last 3 years trying to get me to apply. I’ve been in a consumer proposal until just recently and they apparently knew this according to their letters. So they should of also known it’s NOT allowed to obtain credit while in it. What was this some kind of trap for me to apply and give me credit so I would have to pay all the debts back….for which one they are affiliated with. What a scam! I’ve told them twice to stop sending me letters. And with these other reviews I hope people stay far away!

I received my card tonight in the mail. Tried to activate it but it said my dob does not match. I tried to order food regardless and the order went through. Was that just a security thing?

I would never get involved with these people! It takes two statements before they can change your billing date and they do absolutely nothing to accommodate you. Quarter of a star I'd give them...

Has this card, They froze my card to do fraudulent charges. Talked to many number of people there and they all said that they would have the charges removed ( charges from the other side of the world Air India was one of them) Never heard anything back now to find out they are gonna garnish my wages for charges that were not mine to start with. RUN AWAY from this company totally scammers
