South Health Campus Emergency Department

Right now I’m setting with my 2 year old daughter for 7 hours in the waiting line.People coming and leaving. I think we already saw 3 complete change of all people present in this room .I don’t think my daughter with high temperature for the last 4 days is the healthiest person out of those hundred people that I saw here today in this room. The nurse lies that the rest of people are more sick. That’s impossible. It’s just impossible to be true.Why they doing this to me and my daughter?Should I call police and report a torture?UPD: 4 am in the morning . Still here with my 2 years daughter.She didn’t eat anything for 4 days.Now we are sitting here already 10 hours and waiting for something.Hey, we still alive here without a food in the sitting position.

Naturally I am not a kind of person who rushes to judgment, but my overall experience and the level of service that my little queen, the light of my life received was ALARMING. Extremely unsatisfactory from such a huge medical institution, but filled with with professionals according my fair observation WHO LACKS THE DRIVE TO SERVE THE PEOPLE. There seems to be a deep bureaucracy here. Yes, while they can serve patients in a speedy and efficient manner, they waste time in a manner that seems to kill the time. THE GENUINE ENERGY OF WILLINGNESS TO SERVE THE PEOPLE is scarce. My view doesn’t aim to generalize all, as there are professionals who passionately and truly serve the people. When it comes to the treatment that my daughter received, it was just SYMBOLIC which didn’t even try to address her complain. Not checked for a vital signs by the doctor, not communicated with the lab results. As a coincidence, I was able to see how the doctor was communicating a patient who was in the same room with her partner by her side and elaborating everything, but when it comes to me surprisingly he didn’t want to waste time. I can guess a couple of things as to why he did that, however, the important thing for me is that THE LIFE TIME LESSON THAT I HAVE GOT. It will always keep me highly vigilant when going to such places and make an extra caution ⚠️. Over all, my experience at this medical facility is an experience that totally ERODED my trust, and confidence in the health sector and it will remain with me forever. The admin. of this huge medical institution must try to make sure that the hospital is filled with energetic healthcare professionals who are hungry to serve the people. Continuous and periodic shuffling of staffs to different locations can be one way to address the problems that arises by those who under performing and sleep comfortably after they secure a job.

Took my 2 year old son there last night and the staff were absolutely amazing. They were so good with him from the time we walked in the door until we left. The lady doing the checks at the door made him a coloring package/played the games with him on the tablets they have on the wall. The nurses were so patient with him and the Dr was amazing as well. My 2 year old walked out of there saying Bye

Anywhere but here for your own sake if you can. Some of the staff is great but my son was not casted properly for a broken ankle and has life long issues now.Myself went to this hospital only to wait 14 hours and not receive proper care. They only wanted to drug me up and even offered to keep for the weekend and put me on medication but would not do any further care. I declined their offer, called 811 who instructed me to go back to a doctor for care they would not provide. I went to Urgent Care and there I received at least a beginning of care for a long term illness.This hospital is so poorly run if you have been to any others you will notice the difference immediately, even to urgent care. They lack organization and have created a system to shoo people in and out the door where only half are getting the care they need. Perhaps the health care system needs help but this place needs more than that it needs new management.

Been there last night with my 2 years old daughter. She had fever and difficulties in breathing. Came by 10pm, nurses checked in 10 minutes and gave us painkillers to lower temperature. Then about 3 hours of wait in different rooms with additional check ups, after which doctor checked again and found ear infection.Good service, very nice and polite nurses.

Came to south health from the north west after checking the wait time list that stated 50 min wait time at 7pm.My niece cut her finger and needs a stitch. The triage nurse mentioned a fast track list when I asked about the wait time. She stated that there was three people ahead of us that were already currently being seen by the doctor and we were next in line! That was at 730pm it is now 10pm and she still hasn't been seen. This is ridiculous there is no need to lie to people when we could have gone somewhere else to be seen in a timely manner

I had a great experience here. Friendly and caring staff. I only had to wait for about an hour on a Saturday night. Great doctors and nurses with lots of care and compassion. Blood test results came back quickly. They had to order an antibiotic they didn’t have at the hospital and that arrived pretty quickly too. Glad I didn’t listen to the negative reviews.

Complete joke. A room full of patients, some in serious pain and not a living soul of medical staff to be found. Thanks for pocketing stolen taxpayer money and delivering nothing, you pieces of human debris.Update: things are actually a lot worse than I originally thought. There are things I saw that I cannot unsee. A person could drop dead in the middle of the unit and no one would bat an eye. The lack of care from staff is truly appalling.

People for your patience stay way from this most useless ER I ever have to go... I have yesterday fall accident at work with lots of bad ripped hanging of skin injuriesdeep bleeding scratches with not pleasant pain.Long story short after...13...loong loong hours of waiting without any farther heads up of my attempt I give up and I just left.. This pleace just have totally disorganized sistem so no sistem at all how to serve individual .patients...least some of the employees have really good laughing time during the shift front of the frustrated people waiting helpless gor any news when they will get any assistance or help..I got pass with many another people without any explanation so I quit and went home without any attempt or help...Good luck everyone with this ..our taxes collection place...

This place sucks! Emergency department here are not organized. Discriminations are also here. White people served first before colored and Asian. As my experience to tell. We came here around 9:30 in the evening. Waiting in line to be assessed by nurse for 15 minutes. Called in for admitting for 5 minutes. This is the good part! Waiting for almost 2 and half hours to be called my sons name and when we entered the first door. Guess what waiting time again for almost 4 hrs. The nurse who assisted my son told us that 7 people were ahead of us. But 4 hrs. Passed nobody been called. It really pis*** us. At 4:15 we decided that is long enough waiting for a doctor to see my child conditions but it seems nobody cares. People whose wearing uniform just passing by and don’t even bother to asked us. I felt so sad also for those elderly who keeps on waiting. And those elderly were came before us. I wonder how long they been sitting there. Staff here sucks!!!!
