My old elementary school. Was there 1976-1983, during the Mr. Norris years. Back then, we feared and respected our teachers. We definitely respected our principal!

Fairly dog friendly as the grass field is rarely used on weekends or evenings. Of course being a school dogs are not allowed so be aware of who is near by.

I'm not happy with this school they put my grade 4 daughter back into grade 3 when we moved here from another province she should be in grade 4. And almost in grade 5 makes it difficult to parent when the school system suck's and doesn't care it's all that they effected a child self esteem I would rather give no star but it has to have at least one star I guess I but for my family it's no star school rude teacher's and staff.

Old Yale Road Elementary School
The teachers here are great. I'm one who has been paying close attention to the evolution of OYR and for the most part its a decent inner city school. Although I find the principal, Lisa Jamieson to be unwelcoming and aloof. I have heard about her interactions with the students and it's mainly authoritative rather then warm and approachable. It's time to see someone of higher caliber be appointed to head the operation of this school.

The boys and girls club won't get my frisbee back because they don't the authorization to go on the rooftop. Don't even go there
