Horrible, is the only word I can think off.We ordered a glass shower door. They took the money and then 4 days later got an email saying they couldn't process the card. The email also stated they made attempts to contact us over the phone. Which was a lie. Called customer service you need to use a different card"...ugh. I supplied a different card. I Asked the customer service rep to process the card to make sure it would work. Success it went through she informed me. Great...They took the money and then 4 days later got the same email. Called again. They told us the bank wasn't releasing the money. Called bank and bank said "home depot took there money".... Called home depot again "its a pre authorization it will be refunded in 6-8 days....oh so they did take the money

Attempted to return two items today WITH two separate receipts (purchased in last week) and was DENIED !!!! Yes, it sounds untrue but I assure this is what happened.The reason given (by their new return policy affiliates) was because one item was partially purchased with a gift card (store credit) and Home Depot refuses to reverse the said amount back onto an in store credit/gift card. How absolutely absurd!I’ve spoken to Customer Engagement with Home Depot Canada and they have confirmed this is their policy. Again, how truly absurd!!This is a ludicrous policy, plain and simple. To me this is stealing money from the customer.I am awaiting a call back from a Customer Engagement Supervisor, let’s see if that happens?Buyers beware, think twice about shopping with Home Depot Canada if the policy stays as it is, I know I certainly will!

I purchased 3 large appliances at the Parry Sound Home Depot. A delivery date was set for Jan. 5, 2023. I received a call from Canada Cartage in Dec. saying my appliances would arrive the next day. I let them know that I wasn't to receive them until Jan. 5 and that I was not prepared for the delivery. There was no delivery date given to the carrier as I was told would be. I was instructed to contact the Parry Sound store and have them confirm this date. When I did so, the sales rep said no need they know and will deliver. Come Jan 4 no call and in following up was told that the appliances would be delivered on the 11th. Needless to say all appliances were removed from the kitchen as per the policy" and I am left without a means to cook my meals and am hand washing dishes

Still waiting on product that no one can tell me when it will arrive or where it is after wrong delivery. Terrible service after calling many times. They sure were quick to take my 2000$ though. Will never online order from home Depot again.

I’ve ordered decking on April 15th, 23. I got a call telling me it came in earlier that expected. I missed the call so I Called back, after someone looked into it “ supposedly “ they told me it would be delivered on WEDNESDAY, but was not. I called back and they again said they were going to look into it. They finally came back to the phone after almost twenty minutes and told me because I lived were I lived they only deliver on Fridays. So I told them I would be waiting. Again it didn’t show up, so i called back again Friday late afternoon. The person that I Spock to I believe was Amanda told me that the driver had a freak accident and she assured me that they would make an exception and have it delivered Saturday ( today). It’s 2:00 and it’s still not here so I called back again. The lady that I was talking to me told me about the accident and I won’t get my order until next week. I told her that was unacceptable because of the assurance that it would be delivered today. My husband took the day off to get the deck built and now he’s out of a days pay and I don’t have my order. I’ve built 2 houses in the past five years and purchased wood, tools, appliances. Etc from Home Depot. I will no longer be shopping in a store that can’t schedule people accordingly. I’ve owned a business for thirty years and if someone got hurt I was on the phone finding a replacement. This is NIT how to run a business.

Top Notch terrible service. FAIL!!!I would rate a zero stars but I don't think it's an option. Most frustrating company to buy anything from.Ordered a snowblower online from one of two local stores. confirmation received of delivery 2 days after order. Paid $2000+ . Delivered = no. refund = sure in 72 hours!!??? BUT they took money from my account immediately.Called for status:Delivered = noThey don't know where it is.Can cancel my order but refund will take 72 hours (took my money immediately)Blamed me for ordering from the wrong store. The store they assert I ordered from is Closed temporarily1) I checked the store before I placed the order to make sure it was another store2) WHY would Home Depot facilitate online sales for a store that can't fulfill because it's closedAsked for a Manager = noAsked for a territory manger = no. Terrible, Terrible processes and procedures that are in direct opposition to providing a good experience to promote trust and future business.

It's demeaning to be put into phone tree jail" and be ignored by customer service when calling to get info. to purchase a lawn tractor that costs over $2

I have an eighty four year old neighbor that purchased a dishwasher from the store in Okotoks Alberta. After it was installed, she realized that it does not work properly. When she contacted the store she was told that it was her problem, and she would need to get it warrantied. She was also told to sell it on Kijiji and come back and buy another dishwasher. Sad. Do not purchase any appliances from home Depot. EVER

Worst experience. Ordered a microwave in store. Had a shipping fee. Then when delivered I was told to check the item in case there was any damage but delivery person was being so rude in such a rush and just said it’s fine it’s fine then I did have to return it for other reasons, and the store manager is telling me they don’t accept appliances returned when ordered in. Nobody told me that then I had to pay a 15% restocking fee I do not recommend ordering appliances from home depot, small or large.

Home Depot is getting Glidden brand of paint and they’re hell-bent on offering search cheap quality options to consumers.Glidden need’s to prove its claim of 1 coat- see their label and I feel that I made a wrong decision believing this.Please look at the photos of the performance ofGlidden paint on my wall it is so patchy and refuses to stick I don’t know if Home Depot quality department is aware of this problem and they should check paint before they stock it and check if claims are worth it!Also its pricey and quantity is just enough to do 1 1/2 coats.it’s 842 ml, and consumption is more than regular paintPhotos attached
