What a great shop! Warm friendly welcoming environment. Me and my wife just moved up here from the city and needed some work done (specifically a cv axle). Had our starter motor go on us 2 hours away from home. I called around as we broke down near Coboconk and Kevin said he could have a look. We were on our way quickly with a reasonably priced repair. Very friendly, experienced people here and we would highly recommend them!

While up in Balsam Lake Provincial Park for a camping trip, my VW Passat started making an incredibly loud noise. Fearing a hefty towing bill and a weekend stranded at the campsite, I called Auto Tech 2001. Kevin kindly offered to take a look at my vehicle that very day.After hoisting the car up, we soon learned that my exhaust pipe had completely split midway up the assembly. Kevin managed to patch it up within 15 minutes and got me on my way for a very reasonable price.I'll have to get the assembly welded or replaced at a shop in the GTA, but thanks to Kevin, I was able to enjoy my weekend with the family (and I still had some coin in my purse to do so).I highly recommend Kevin and Auto Tech for repairs, maintenance and emergency diagnostics. He is honest, personable and straightforward--and he certainly doesn't gouge customers who are in a tight spot.Fantastic experience and a great guy.

Kevin has had my truck in his shop for over 4 months. Since December 2020 I've been hearing it'll probably be done next Monday" and "almost done". I am disappointed with the service they haven't been able to complete a job in over a month
