Quaint European exterior. I love the hybrid concept of a cafe, butchery/deli, gift shop, grocer in a single establishment. The staff were asking if I needed help finding anything and seemed very friendly and lovely. Definitely will revisit to try the eats.

Came in over the weekend to grab some supplies for a charcuterie board and ended up grabbing lunch while we were there. If you have not been here, I would recommend checking it out! It has everything from cute gift ideas, interesting import items and, my favourite all the bread, meat and cheese you'd need to make a great spread.The staff is super friendly, even after selecting multiple meats/cheese for slicing, they did not get impatient and made sure I had everything I needed.Food is the restaurant was also amazing, reminded me of my Ukrainian Grandmother's cooking, nonsense good home cooked feel and taste.

Awesome staff, great selection. We always come here for the Beza! Seasonal trinkets and decoration galore. Useful kitchen gadgets and tool selection. Great place to build a dish set or grab something to eat for Saturday lunch.

The Asian looking server,gave me a dirty look just for asking for more tomato sauce.I understand cabbage rolls are not made in China.When the other lady pointed out,she just put a disgusting pinch and fold it over.I'm shopping at this village for years, but I'm about to go elsewhere.Chinese German food soon.Don't go there if you are not Chinese lol!!!!!

I love this store and the employees BUT I am putting a 1 star after what I experienced from the new general manager !! I felt so bad for the employee when he said aren't you too old to be working here"?. As well I went to the deli and heard from him "stop losing your fuel and get back to work". Being rude to employees

I received a gift certificate for Christmas and what a great chance to try this unique little place. It has gifts, foods and candy, a deli, a bakery and a restaurant. The food was really, really good with huge portion sizes and the service was great as well. What a treat for a day just kicking around !!!!! We will return!

Get ready for my best review yet! My German mother in law has been going to Edelweiss Village for years and I decided to tag along this time. Boy have I been missing out! When you drive here it's a little tricky to find as you go through a residential area in the NW. We started by having lunch, I had the cabbage roll which was delicious. My wife and family had the chicken schnitzel and sauerkraut which was excellent as well. After lunch we decided to shop and there was something for everyone here. We were Easter shopping so we loaded up on chocolate treats for the kids. While in the store I overheard an older gentleman ask to speak to the owner. A tall blond lady came down and she took the time to help this man and wife with his shopping needs. I look forward to visiting this gem at Christmas as I hear the store is beautifully decorated for Christmas.

We have heard a lot about this place and finally came to check it out. It is exactly like a village as its name suggests. It has so much to offer, from unique European gifts to German baked goods to deli items to a dining room/takeout station with hot food. It definitely made us feel like we were in a mini European village...they got good vibes here.We bought a few items including some deli items, a cool cookie cutter, a few hot chocolate packs, and some hot food to try. Some items are a bit pricey but hopefully it's worth it. I am looking forward to see how the German cookie cutter works. We tried the pork schnitzel and mild bratwurst. Both were good but the bratwurst definitely had more flavour. We will visit again later if we need to get a feeling of Europe again.

Edelweiss Village has become an iconic fixture in Calgary for those seeking an incredible variety of European foods and select goods. Started in 1963, this marks 60 years for this business. It's well worth a visit if you haven't been there yet.

Found this great little import store by accident. What a treasure, so many food and household items. They even have an eat-in area to enjoy their delightful food and baking section!! Will visit again every chance I'm in Calgary
