I had my grandmother's sapphire and diamond necklace re-worked into a beautiful ring by David Conger! It was the best experience and will be an heirloom for many many more years to come. David is so talented, kind, and takes such pride in what he does. He has so much knowledge and communicates very well - about his timeline, price, the quality of the gems, how it will look, and making the jewellery structurally sound so it lasts forever.

I have been dealing with David for over 35 years and have always had outstanding service. I consider myself very fortunate to know him! Initially, I consulted his business as an appraiser though over the years I have purchased new and estate items from him, had modifications to some of my existing jewelry, as well as had custom items made. My fiancé and I worked with Dave over the fall to design a custom engagement ring. Dave was fantastic - very knowledgeable and really took the time to help educate us on our options. After an initial Zoom consultation, he sent us images of the ring design by email. We then met in person to choose from a selection of three gorgeous diamonds he had ordered for us to look at. After that, we met again to sign off on a model of the ring, before receiving the finished product. At all stages of the process, Dave was great about tweaking the design to suit me and my lifestyle (e.g., setting the diamond low). We couldn’t be happier with the results!

Dave was amazing to work with. We created a custom engagement ring with him. The process from start to finish was really exciting. We got an inside look into the process of making a ring. We shared all of our ideas with Dave and he was able to give us expert advice into which ideas would hold up well and which wouldn’t (something I would have never thought about on my own). If you’re looking for a jeweler to bring your dreams to life, I highly recommend Dave. We are so happy with the engagement ring he helped us create that we will also be getting our wedding bands made by him.

I brought David a beautiful boulder opal my husband bought me while in Australia, many years ago to be put into a pendant.David is very knowledgeable and has a wonderful eye for design. He knew exactly how to emphasize the stone without overwhelming it.As he’s working through the stages of design he takes into consideration how it actually looks at each stage & suggests changes if necessary.He has lots of meetings & consults throughout the process so you are involved in each step to sign off on it. There was no surprises. The diamonds he chose were tiny (as to not overshadow the opal) but great quality.The finished pendant is perfect. So thrilled with the finished product and my husband just said that turned out spectacularly! Dave is so exceptionally creative and attentive. Firstly, he restored my family heirloom engagement ring from 1886 and made it sparkle! Then, he worked his magic on my wedding band. I'm not a particularly picky person and I gave him free reign to design a wedding band that complimented my grandmother's ring because I had very few ideas; he did not disappoint. He was responsive to my questions every step of the way and the wedding band turned out better than I could have imagined. Dave Conger was highly recommended to me, and I now know why. Working with Dave was an absolute pleasure. He was very patient and listened to all my feedback during the design process to re imagine some old jewellery pieces into one single custom ring. The process took some time and I let it play out as it was meant to, not rushing the steps, and making sure what we designed together was exactly what I was looking for. Dave is the most kind, creative and talented person. We came to him with two family rings and (many) design ideas. I am thrilled at the jewelry that Dave made for me.!!!I brought in a piece of jewelry left to me by my mom, one that I never wore. Dave remodelled it into a pendant that I will:never take off! He read what was in my mind! The entire experience was superb.I highly recommend him and trust in his suggestions and advice!Dave also made a new ring for my husband, one that was based upon an old broken piece.
