Last year we had our windows, front door, and sliding glass door replaced. The installation went smoothly and products looked good. However, the front door began leaking shortly after, with water stains appearing on the trim at the base of the door. My husband called and tried to arrange a time for the technician to come and fix the door, but after a couple of phone calls the technician never called back. More recently, I called to try to reschedule the repair. I called three times over a week and a half and was told each time that the technician would call me back when he returned to the shop. He never did. Eventually the receptionist told me to email the owner to expedite the process. I did receive an email back and was told that the system would generate an appointment." I asked for the date of the appointment so we could confirm we could actually be home. It has been over a week and I have yet to hear any more news. Clearly this company is happy to respond when they can make money but uninterested in engaging when they are required to make repairs. We are extremely disappointed with the level of customer service we have received over the past year.Edit: It is definitely NOT caused by the mat by the door. We do not use this door regularly and do not have a mat. The trim was already painted using semi gloss paint. The leaking only occurs when it rains

I had a window turned into a patio sliding door. My experience from start to finish was fantastic. Sheldon was our sales representative and he was so great! He kept in contact with us the entire way. Our doors were also 6 weeks early:) the workers had to cut through our brick to create a door frame. They were highly skilled, took their time and left the place clean afterwards. I’d highly recommend this company and will be using them for future projects.

I would give O stars if possible installed a sliding door which leaked from day one. Never came back to fix it won’t respond to emails or return calls. When I called the company the manger Greg refused to give me his last name or to let me speak to his boss. When I spoke to the salesmen and asked for his email he told his email was his first name at capital windows but he wasn’t sure how to spell his name. I’m not sure what going on at this company but stay far away. Yes they are definitely one of the cheapest options but their work shows it. If you have any doubts go to the better business bureau and check out how many complaints they have I should of done my homework.

The good: dealing with sales was a breeze. Pete came to my house and explained the products and help me choose a beautiful door.The door looks great! The price was very reasonable compared to other quotes.The bad: they broke the brand new doorbell that I purchased to be installed with the door. Although they replaced it, they didn’t install it properly and left it hanging there. It still doesn’t work after almost three months.Also they installed some metal flashing at the bottom right before you walk in. It’s not corrugated or textured or anything.very slippery when wet. This piece of siding should never be used here. It’s for underneath a window. As expected, this has been a tripping hazard for my elderly parents when they’ve come over.Also, one of the installers was smoking right at the front door while it was being installed. I could smell it all inside my house. When asked them not to smoke, he stopped but then I saw him smoking in my garage. I don’t even smoke in my garage.

The GoodThe installation speed and quality were good, staff were friendly and communicative. No issues.Price for the entire project was great.The BadI was quoted and sold a window product that was supposed to line up with my existing patio steps. The salesperson assured me it would be no issue. When the installers came, I again confirmed the door would open on to my existing step. After ripping out my old window and door and beginning the installation they discovered the new window could not be installed as was specified.As this installation was occurring in a cold mid-march, we proceeded with the installation with a different configuration which will require me to dig up and move my step in the summer. Also, the final bill failed to take into account the deposit I paid previously, requiring further work on my part to resolve the discrepancy.Overall, I am happy with the installed product. The timeline from quote to installation was quick. The salesperson was helpful in trying to work with my budget, and the installers did their best with the situation they were handed. Attention to detail pertaining to product specifications and limitations needs improvement.

Had a 31 years old patio door replace and Capitall Windows crew came right on time and completed the job within 3 hours. They were a 3 persons crew team and were very professional with eyes on details during installation. There was a little hiccup midstream as the initial sizing call for the stock standard patio door but they find the height opening at least 2 inches bigger than expected. Given our contract include all extensions and trims to fit, they manage to resolve this with an extension elegantly and properly applied to the install. I am happy with the outcome and would not hesitate to recommend them.

I had my front window replaced last spring. The crew doing the replacement broke the brick at the bottom of the window when they removed the old window. They never offered to fix it and only dropped off a plastic bag full of parging for me to fix myself. The material supplied was not acceptable so I had to go to home depot and buy material to fix the brickwork myself.

I love my need twelve FT sliding door. Awesome work done by Capitall windows team. Highly recommend them.

Generally a very good experience. Had CapitAll replace 4 exterior doors during COVID lockdowns and then had them quote for 12 windows. Price was competitive and they had colour options we wanted for both interior and exterior trims and our experience with the doors was positive.Service was quick and windows were ready for install in about 8-9 weeks (not 8+ months like other quotes). Job was originally booked for 3 days but took longer due to unforeseen complications with existing window extractions (who knew wood windows from the 1960s may be encased in steel frames and plaster walls would be so hard to cut into?!?). What was unfortunate is the mess this created both inside and out. Happy with the end result even if I had to contact the owner once or twice to correct small issues. That said, the owner was super responsive and made things right without too much resistance.Update: Just had my follow-up energy audit and the results were nothing short of amazing. He complemented the quality of the install contributing to the significant air sealing efficiency he was not expecting. Made my day! 5-stars for sure.

Extremely friendly, easy to get a hold of and extremely professional. I've had windows done twice by this company and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend!!!
