I have been a patient under the care of at least 8 Drs. Although, and with persistence, there doesn't seem to be an answer to a request for home support services- meals- personal hygiene- cleaning- food, meal, delivery ; grocery ; nursing care ; wellness checks ;- Normally day-to -tasks that a person who suffered COVID-19, and is virtually disabled.I have made 3 requests to the same Dr for home support, and was completely ignored !! Once by the front office clerk/ communications person (phone). There ARE Indigenous ppls who are 'old school, and do not know how to ask for help. I for one, have a fierce independent streak, old school values, doing everything on my own, being the helper, counsellor, bodyguard. I had COVID-19 in Feb/2020. I was never diagnosed, tested, no home support, no Dr or Human Resources offered . I gave you a rating of 3, it could have been a failing - 1.""

Poor management and bereft of Human Resources. A hefty lack of professionalism due in large part of a disorganized administration team and board of directors. A great environment of lateral violence if one enjoys working in one.

The receptionist named Maria is unprofessional and lacks empathy. I was speaking with someone else at the desk and she rudely told me that I’m supposed to speak to her about bookings when it was the other person who asked me first. She continued to speak to me with a rude tone of voice and when I confronted her on her unprofessionalism she apologized in a sarcastic way. This is only a part of how she has treated me unfairly.Honestly I hope she reflects and realizes the way she treats people impacts can be traumatizing. This has now brought me a lot of anxiety to even step into a dentists office.I had to wait 45 minutes one time as well and she did not communicate to me that it would take that long.

I believe this is an educated answerI've been a patient on/offCompared prices with private and other not for profitsTalked with different people at this officeThis office doesn't reallyget the support from anybodyBut still it is trying to help peopleWe the patients complain for everything despite that people is trying to help usThe answer is easyIf no one is financially helping this officeIf everybody is asking for free serviceThe business will go underTheir prices have a big rangeIt is trueIt can be between 10% to 60% depending the treatment. And they don't balance billAnd they don't ask money at frontYes if u have lab work, u have to pay for itOf course, the lab charges them normal feewhy they have to pay for ur own lab workU as a customer u have to pay for itThat it's vs other not for profit or private officeThey take everybody from everywhereEven patients that others don't what to see for any reasonIt is not like private office if u don't have $ or if u don't pay at front = they don't see uOr some private offices that have a narrow intake criteria or prices are higher vs vahsThey even give the chance of monthly silly payments of 50 or 100 per month. For ongoing trust customersThey r the only clinic that it's taking the nightmare of taking volunteers of students to keep the price downBig healt providers are not helping themThe vahs pays rent and other utilies like anybody elseThey pay salaries to their staffI heard that the bcda helps them with some little grant /yr. The staff said that this grant is only 2 or 3 weeks for their annual operationsIf u go to cra u can see how kich they r writting off. I believe based on the main staff the dental department wrote of 350k in 2021If that is not helping peole. I don't know what else it's that.Keep in mindPublic service is difficult and we all complainEven for the color of the uniform. Dealing with that from a customer perspectiveAny human wil get tire and u will see the cranky side. But we ignore that and we complain anyway and expect flowers all the timeI think this office is doing what others are not doingEven more than the hospital at vghgood luck getting treatment there as a normal dental patientTheir intake is so narrow that it is easier to be a patient in the not for profit. This is a free country and this is my honest opinion (right of expression)U can opt to like it or notThis office is doing lore than the big majority in the province.

I went in for an emergency dental appointment.Reception was uncompassionate unhelpful and hypocritical. What really struck a nerve was before I could ascertain an appointment she had a mask dangling from one ear and then tells me Sir you either need to wear a mask or step behind the barrier" (didn't say please) while she fixed her own to the other ear.The best she offered was $200.00 a week for a root canal because everyone has that kind of money floating.I called back to tell them I was unhappy and seeking another dental service and another receptionist simply said "OK" and didn't offer apologies.Abhorrent etiquette."

I've been going to native health for almost 30 +years. This is the first time I've had to call and make an appointment. And my doctor wasn't there. And not many natives there either. I think they should change the name to Eastside Health since they let more non natives in then natives.

Very satisfied and thankful for this clinic. I had to get a sudden, emergency root canal and unfortunately was not covered by extended dental coverage. VAHS was very accommodating and offered an affordable procedure at almost 60% cheaper than specialists in Vancouver. Great staff, professional and knowledgeable dentist, and very clean. I will gladly be back!

My budget dose not allow for the excessive cost of dental care and due to some chronic health issues I have really bad teeth. this place is amazing there people frist who are compassionate medical profesionals.I have had three teeth pulled by them and am in the process of fixing the rest of my mouth at a cost that is affordable for me.and I do mean my whole mouth!!!!If you have a budget problem and a urgent need for dental care this where you can go and get the relief you need . My only warning is plan on it being an all day event they help a lot of people on walk in base Wich means scheduled appoinments are not always the priority but for the care provided at a cost that is so much less then any other dental clinic? sitting around for a few extra hours is not that much of a inconvenience in my book. especially if you have ever suffered from an abscess bring a book bring something to keep bizzy and be patient. Highly recommend them for those of us who can't afford to spend tens of thousands of dollars or don't have dental coverage to reduce the cost.

This is a first-class place. I attended the clinic for three years and had the best care possible from several of the doctors. They are so good to everyone, in often challenging circumstances. The support staff are wonderful, too. In fact, without the care they gave me at a dreadful time in my life, I may not be here today. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
