The Village Taphouse
We sat outside, so wonderful with shade under an umbrella. Our waiter was 10/10 so helpful AND handsome. Food was fantastic and I loved the 0/0 Heineken beer. A place to be anytime, any day any evening but some of us girls enjoy lunch the best in the sunshine. Happy hour fantastic. You will love every moment, every morsel!!! Can’t wait for next visit.

This has been a staple for me to visit during any visit to Park Royal. They always have some fun special everyday and their pizzas are legit.I ordered the burger pizza, which was basically a pickle loaded burger pizza. If you like pizzas and pickles, then I highly suggest it. Look at the picture, that is legitimately a lot pickles.Value was there, there’s always some specials happening and it’s usually always packed. It’s also family friendly, so feel free to bring your kids.Service was also top notch for our experience. Will definitely be back for another meal next time we are at Park Royal.

Great pub, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The food isn't too shabby either, with a wide range of menu selections and pubfare. I enjoyed the potato skins and pizza. While their selections aren't bad, I wish they had a wider variety of local craft beer on draft. Overall enjoyable experience, I'll definitely come again!

My first time here and did the dineout menu. Was wowed by the ambiance. The nice fireplace, the snowshoes on the wall, and the beautiful bar. Shawn was our server and was very knowledgeable about the beers on tap. Offered us very good service. Even recommended us his favourites. Will come back to try the pizza and the sticky toffee pudding.Only downside was that the food was a bit salty but turned it into left overs for the next day which was not too bad.

My wife and I ordered the full nachos without the beans & corn. They were great! Cheese was well layered and came with a roasted tomato salsa (delish), pickled jalapeños, sour cream, and a add on of guacamole.We decided to split a bacon cheddar burger with a side of carder salad.The burger was on the happy hour list and did not disappoint either.The waitress was great and always at our table at just the right time.I would definitely recommend going here.Parking can be tricky but once you’re parked and settled into your table….forgetaboutit…

Have eaten here numerous times over the years. Overall, food and service are pretty good, beer selection is great, location convenient within the Park Royal Village. On my last visit, the tuna poke bowl missed the mark though - way too much cabbage, though the presentation was pretty.

The Village Taphouse
I constantly visit the Village Tap House in West Vancouver and am always blown away by their nachos, potato skins, and sticky toffee pudding.The nachos are absolutely fantastic - loaded with toppings and perfectly crispy chips. The potato skins are also a standout, with creamy, melted cheese and a generous amount of bacon. But the real showstopper is the sticky toffee pudding. It is rich and gooey, with a beautiful caramel sauce drizzled on top.Overall, I highly recommend the Village Tap House for their delicious and well-crafted pub fare. The nachos, potato skins, and sticky toffee pudding are all must-tries. Five stars all around!

We've been coming here for years, and after sometime away, coming back for some food and drinks with some friends it was a significant disappointment. I'll tell you why.Have you ever been somewhere to eat and you felt that your server had better things to do? Like prepare for an exam or go meet her friends? That was our first impression of our server when we sat down and unfortunately it lasted the whole evening. The attention, effort and energy she gave to our table the entire time was as if she wanted us to finish, pay and leave and we had just gotten there. When she did come around she never cleared the dirty side plates from our appetizers, and dirty dishes sat there throughout our mains when we finally asked the bus boy to clear them.Anyhow....moving on....so that's for service. Now for the food....keep reading.Overpriced hot wings that used to come with dip and celery...you know....they're hot wings...now they charge you for celery and dip....yeah I'm serious. Hot wings tasted frozen and old.The Korean cauliflower tasted good but it was swimming in sauce. The truffle fries were more like regular fries, limp and lacking freshness, as well as the yam fries were not seasoned at all. No salt nothing. Bland. We also ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger which was very average, but what was odd with that order was that there were fries missing in the container it came with (see pic). Like someone had helped themselves with a couple of them before the dish arrived at our table. It was not topped off.We had a tequila shot and it tasted like water when we told our server she told us to pick a brand we liked, so we went with Patron. Once those arrived, even though they were the same order....one of them was poured less than the other by at least 1/2 a shot.Yeah...not good. We were going to let our server know, but she came around only when she had nothing better to do.We used to love this place but this might just be enough for us not to return.What a shame.

We had a blast dinner at Village Taphouse last Friday and would highly recommend this place!!! We came to celebrate our friend’s birthday and got the Vancouver Dine Out menu which was totally worth it for price and quality. Food was amazingly tasty: Brussel sprouts or Korean chicken, pizza and desserts. As it was Friday you could tell the place was busy and still we got a really efficient and kind service. Our server and the manager made sure everything was going ok with our dinner. Would definitely come back as the decoration and location of this restaurant is pretty!

We had a lovely table outside. There was lots of activity in the area. But things moved slow. Our very delicious cauliflower appetizer took forever. In fact, we wondered if the order got lost. But, it was so worth the wait. We never ended up ordering the rest of dinner. I always assume if the kitchen is sending out food slowly then there are staffing problems. Wait staff could smile more or check in with tables. I would like to give them all a second chance for sure.
