Very down to earth, went an extra mile to capture crucial details even when we were running behind schedule on the day of, he did not make us feel rushed.He gives his all and our guests even noticed and commented on his skillsWe we’re honoured to work with him for our wedding and the entire process exceeded our expectations!! He is truly passionate about his job and it shows in his product!Our wedding album and wall portraits are a few things in our home we hold so dear - not only for the memories but the outstanding art and quality!!Anyone can take a picture, but Carey’s work is absolutely majestic and breathtaking!!

Hiring Carey Nash was by far the best decision we made for our wedding. I spent a great deal of time researching and contacting photographers for our destination wedding at Emerald Lake Lodge the Canadian Rockies. When I discovered Carey’s work, I was sold! Not only is Carey extremely talented, but he is the nicest person and so willing to help in any way possible. We ended up doing an adventure session with Carey the day after our wedding and it was spectacular. We absolutely love our photos and will cherish them and the experience with Carey forever. Hopefully one day, we will be able to schedule another adventure session with Carey somewhere else around the world!

We went on an adventure with Carey for a photoshoot post-wedding. It was one of the best decisions we made around this whole event! We were initially persuaded by the quality of his international portfolio across subjects, settings, and conditions. He’s a master of the craft. We planned our wedding 18 months in advance, but Carey wasn’t available on our preferred date. Yet, we had done so much research and already settled on him as our adventure photographer, so we extended our stay in Banff just to work with him.We had no expectations for the day itself. There were so many lovely surprises. First, our videographers came along for the journey and to get some adventure footage! The wedding industry in the Alberta Rockies is a close-knit community, so Carey and other photographers based in the Edmonton/Calgary area have a home-court advantage.Second, although we chose Carey for his outstanding work, we spent six hours together in three locations and found we just loved hanging out with him! Carey has a kind and warm personality. He makes people feel at ease, and he’s hilarious. Our digital album is full of genuine smiles.Carey took all our input and gave us just enough guidance. He chose the locations based on light conditions and time of day. At each location, Carey rapidly composed shots and experimented with what looked best. We were amazed at Carey’s ability to capture the beauty of a landscape while simultaneously highlighting the subjects. We took a series of photos with my veil flowing in the wind – this got Carey excited like a kid at Christmas. His true passion really shows through in the result.Our final location was a stunning waterfall. Somehow, there were no tourists there. It was the end of a long day for us in full dress, but we were having so much fun that I didn’t want to say goodbye! Carey sent us some previews within a few days, a very short turnaround time. We got so many compliments on this set of photos.We can’t recommend Carey enough. We’re not based in Canada, but if we could work with Carey again somewhere else in the world, we would love the opportunity. You can’t go wrong with hiring him for your shoot. We’ll treasure our memories forever – thank you Carey!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Carey for an adventure session in Banff. The weather wasn’t what we had hoped for, it went from pouring rain, snowing, and then a bit of sun peaked though but the pictures were still stunning.You can see how talented Carey is by the way he incorporated us in the beautiful landscape of the Canadian Rockies. His knowledge of photography and his equipment enabled him to quickly adjust to whatever scenery, lighting, weather, movements or angle he needed to produce incredible shots.He is an active photographer... he came prepared in his hiking shoes climbing rocks and trekking through the terrain to capture that perfect shot. We had so much fun and even got to explore some beautiful places that Carey took us to during the adventure session. Once my husband and I decided to get married in Banff, choosing Carey as our wedding photographer was the best decision we could have made! He was an absolute pleasure to work with, and the images are stunning. He scouts the best locations, and his ability to capture the beauty in the landscape makes me want to learn how to properly work a nice camera myself. Importantly, he knows how to pose his subjects! My husband is normally incredibly awkward when it comes to posing for photos, but Carey was great at specifying how we should stand, look, etc. and he made everything appear very natural and graceful. If there was a future occasion to do so, we'd definitely work with Carey again in a heartbeat.

Having Carey as our photographer was the best decision we did for our elopement. He understood our wishes and recommended the venue (Emerald Lake Lodge) which our family loved! He's very creative, and tried to create the unique experience for us. On the day of, depending on the weather (which turned out beautiful), he would take us to different places for photoshoot. My husband hates being photographed and he felt completely comfortable following Carey's guidance. Our photos were so pretty that my siblings wished that they could have been there to be in them. Carey's skills are impeccable, every photoshoot is unique, you can see his style in the photos but the editing isn't generic for everyone. If you're looking for great experience on your day and also have beautiful unique souvenir" that lasts forever

From the moment we began communications for our wedding photography needs, Carey was such a pleasure to deal with! He was very prompt in his communications and provided great suggestions for locations for our elopement session. Our day was made to be so much fun with Carey's easy going and fun disposition.
