Went here thinking there was automation but I was very disappointed with my return it was clearly wrong because I usually count before. Ripped off by a good $12.80. They only automate cans and plastic bottle's they sort everything else by hand like other depots. Will not be coming here again. Gonna try the one down the street next time.

Normally I would have given a five star rating for service and cleanliness. His ever in this time of covid and mandated mask bilaws there were several employees working today that did not war masks. Or wore them as chin warmers. Unimpressed.

The sink to wash your hands was out of order maybe fix that? All bottle depots are kinda gross, no one likes sticky hands. Also I had a 9 dollar and change return, and I got back a 5 dollar bill and the rest were dimes and nickels! Not convent I'll probably go to another depot from now on. Even tho this one is close to my house. Still friendly staff and it's fast because they have an automatic bottle sorter. But more could be done to improve.

Little to no regard for the safety of it's patrons during Covid-19. Every person in this photo is a staff member. Other staff members also didn't have masks or didn't wear them properly

The new automated sorting system at Calgary bottle exchange is incredible. Not only is it a thousand times cleaner, it’s much faster and the employees seem to be friendlier as a result (not to say they weren’t beforehand) - it’s also very precise for its speed, rarely missing anything. You can watch your lane’s total tick up as well, if that tickles your fancy.

Came here with what would normally be >$80 worth of recycling at a different bottle depot (My entire truck bed filled to the brim). Walked out with $40 and will never be back. Something is wrong with their counting and I doubt it's accidental.
