We had an excellent experience shopping with GearTrade. Jesse was very helpful and things were shipped to us very quickly. More than satisfied with the service! We look forward to Jesse carrying more gear so we can shop for other items that are hard to obtain in Canada (that we may be wanting in the near future!)

This was my first experience with GearTrade and it definitely won’t be my last. Jesse went above and beyond to get me some last minute important items needed for a trip and it made it to Ontario in 2 DAYS!Will not be going anywhere else for my backpacking gear, will order from Jesse everytime! Love that we have a lightweight gear supplier in Canada with this kind of customer service and awesome products.Can’t thank Jesse and GearTrade enough for such a great experience!

Ordered an Enlightened Equipment - Revelation (20F/-6C) 850 via the Gear Trade website. Followed up with a phone call as to the status of my order. The exact version of quilt I had requested was not in their inventory at the time of the phone call however I was offered an upgraded version that was in stock at no additional cost to me! I have a trip coming up and this definitely takes the time pressure off for having new and updated sleeping gear. So... Highly recommend and also want to say thank you!

This is my go to place to buy hiking gear. It is great to support a local business that supports local groups like the Great Divide Trail Association. They are responsive and will bring in special request gear at prices that usually beat the US websites. Their customer service is responsive and friendly. I appreciate their curated selection of high quality equipment. I highly recommend this local business.

One of the few places I could find the tent I wanted for sale in Canada. They could've marked up the price dramatically but they didn't. They kept it priced reasonably and that to me is standing by their philosophy. Rare these days but much appreciated. Was shipped rapidly.

Literally the best and fastest service. Saved a TON on my equipment, and Jesse shipped it to me super fast. Basically, I’ll be buying 100% of my gear here from now on.I was able to set my new tarp up this weekend to test it out before I left. Amazing. Thanks for being so friendly and awesome.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Gear Trade and my experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Jesse is awesome! His genuine passion for the products and commitment to helping customers make informed decisions was evident throughout all of the interactions I saw while in the shop.The highlight of my experience with Gear Trade and Jesse: I accidentally left my sunglasses at the store a month later after I got back from leading a photography tour in Ecuador, I was able to come back to pick them up and Jesse had them out on the counter ready for me.Overall, my experience at Gear Trade was excellent. The store itself offers a fantastic range of high-quality outdoor gear, and the staff's expertise is splendid. Definitely recommend Gear Trade!

Amazing company. They have the best support and were extremely communicative the entire process. They even stock the top ultra light brands like Enlightened Equipment and Hyperlite that can be so tough to even procure from the companies themselves (like the Gossamer Gear 1/8 sleeping mat). Can't recommend them enough. You will never regret a purchase from them."

Great customer service. I ordered some of their house branded PVC dry bags, they shipped quickly, quality seems good, and they were half the price of other dry bags. Additionally, they made a mistake with a titanium pot I ordered. Customer service was fast and friendly and directly from the owner, and they shipped the correct product and let me keep the titanium mug they sent by mistake. Buy with confidence knowing you are supporting a small business that stands by their products and will make it right if they make a mistake.
