Calgary Home Real Estate Laura Oyen - Re/max Real Estate Central-Realtors

I’m not sure what kind of realtor Laura is but as a land lord she definitely falls under the Slum Lord category. She brags about being a top realtor but my experience with her as a landlord are that she is the worst landlord I’ve ever dealt with. The place I’m renting from her is a dump and she refuses to do anything about the list of concerns I have here which all fall under the Alberta Minimum housing and health standards act. The list is extensive, one item is a extremely large very dead tree in the back yard which large branches regularly fall off of and it’s only a matter of time before the tree falls over and possibly kills someone, when my concerns were raised that someone is going to get hurt the reply was “that’s what insurance is for”. The front steps are broken and getting worse all the time, no hand rails and her response is live with it. Once again the furnace doesn’t work because she won’t make the proper necessary repairs and once again she’s not responding to my request to have someone come and fix it. For someone who brags about how good their reputation is in the Real estate market she falls flat on her face as a landlord . She puts nothing into her properties and milks every cent out of them she can and runs them into the ground. Once my lease is up I’ll never do business with her again on any level.
