Absolutely amazing. I have been here so many times and every time I have a great time. Very nice and friendly environment and the decor is lovely. The music the play on the background makes the experience even better, I love when they play Harry Potter soundtrack music! Thanks for creating such a fun place!! <3

What a fantastic place to play some board games, relax, and have a few drinks, whether they be coffee, soft drinks, or alcoholic beverages. The atmosphere is fantastic and very thematic and makes for a great time.

The staff here are always super friendly and happy to help or provide recommendations. Drinks and food are also fun and delicious. We try to come to Wednesday Night Trivia as often as we can and it's always super thought out. It makes for a fun evening whether you win or lose. I am always recommending people to check out the Freaky Wizard.

City of Barrie is so lucky to have Freaky Wizard. It’s a great place to spend a few hours with family playing board games and having fun. Always get a hot drink - the cake slices are great too. Enjoy checking out all of the displays - the whole atmosphere is perfect for nerdy movie lovers like us. Have also bought some toys in the past. Happy to see the addition of the Book Inn which is separate but within Freaky Wizard. Everyone is always welcoming. So overall - so cool!!!

Absolutely love this place. The owners are super nice, full of great ideas, and the atmosphere and food are fantastic. You can tell the owners are also very conscientious of accessibility as they have gender neutral washrooms, a menu that accommodates multiple dietary resitractions, and wheelchair accessibility. I love that this has become a gathering place for local businesses to support each other by having multiple under the same roof. The boardgames library is great and the trivia nights on Wednesdays at 730pm are so much fun. My boyfriend and I are regulars each week for trivia and we frequently come throughout the week and on weekends for boardgames after work with friends. Highly recommend!

My husband and I came to The Freaky Wizard for the first time today as a little Father’s Day treat for him and it was such a great experience!We both got the Vietnamese iced coffee which was absolutely delicious, and WELL worth the 15-20 minute wait (which we were warned ahead about).While we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere as we waited, we were playing Pokémon Go and the employee who brought us out our coffees (served in a glass mug, fancy!) noticed and added some lures to the Poke Stops for us! Totally of his own volition with no prompting from us! It was a small but lovely gesture on his part.We will definitely be back again soon!

For the first time in a long time I found a place that feels like home. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and the drinks were beyond delicious. I was able to sit and read one of the books as I listened to some great music. I glanced at the huge selection of games and can't wait to be able to bring my sister here one day to play several of them. Thank you for having a space to escape reality where everyone is welcome. Truly appreciated

What a great place to come and hang out with family kids or friends, play board games have specialty drinks and food it's such a unique place. Harry potter themed for those that are enamored with the series. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place. And very reasonably priced. You can even bring food in from somewhere else and pay a small fee to eat there and play games what a great idea !!??

This Cafe is so much more than just a little coffee shop! Boardgames, Fantasy galore, Fantastic taste in music, fun energy and friendly for all ages! The staff are always super friendly, polite and are great for suggesting different menu items and games to try. I’m able to do my work there AND enjoy an evening with friends. 100/10 do recommend!!
