Salaheddin Islamic Centre

My children went to some top Islamic schools in GTA (based on the ranking of TDSB and Fraser), however, the sad reality is, all these money making machines are Muslim schools instead of Islamic schools, they do excel in secular education, but, they fail in cultivating Islamic identity. It was for this reason, I went to Salaheddin, since they have their priorities right, religion is given precedence over secular education without any compromise. Students are suspended or expelled on bullying or bad behaviour, something with any high-end Islamic school is lagging behind since they need continuous cash-flow. Salaheddin put great emphasis on manners and behaviour to raise religiously educated and practising Muslims those are capable of leading the community. Principal, admin and staff is very productive, knowledgeable and has vision for your children to achieve. Every person or institution has its pros and cons, but Salaheddin has so much good to offer to young minds and hearts that I being a responsible parent have never regretted my decision, may we have more people and institutions like Salaheddin whose primary concern is to make your child a better Muslim and human - in sha Allah.

The Islamic Center" is great! But not the school. I have studied from Salahuddin Islamic school and will be graduating now. In a nutshell if your child may want to peruse a career in anything other than Islamic studies in the future

Alhamdulillah allah bring me here 28th may all of a sudden… sisters and brother I’m going through very critical obstacles.. going through separation.. I’m alone here and only Allah here with me.. please pray for me to ease this things and stop this separation and divorce.. by giving hedayet and good deed to my husband and me inshallah.I seek prayer for you

Please do not send your children to this school if you fear for their future. The entire school administration is completely upside down, teachers are completely unqualified, and bullying is acceptable at this school. Teachers do not teach but simply hand work to children. Kids are often left unsupervised (teachers break) from my experience from grade 1-3. This school’s bus service is an absolute joke where young kids are left alone to be bullied by older students while the driver ignores the chaos going on in the background. I plead with all parents not to send your children to this school until their administration is completely cleaned up and revamped. My child literally has PTSD from what happened to him while he was at this school. It saddens me to write a review like this but I wish someone warned me about them. For your sanity and children’s sanity I implore you to seek other Islamic schools because there is much better at the same cost (financially).

Went there for a basketball match got a look around from my prespective best islamic school.Good facilities especially the gym.Beutiful they beat another islamic school called Alif canada 54 to 12 teams are stacked as heck.If u go there ur lucky.

This community centre was founded in 1998 to serve the Islamic community ;it welcomes both Muslims and non-Muslims. This facility is great because of the many excellent services it provides. It has an excellent Islamic school that is K-12 which follows the Ontario curriculum with many certified and dedicated staff and adminstration.This community centre also has a travel agency,family services(marriage ,family counselling and support services,excorism), lectures, conferences, youth programs,funeral services.Islamic instructional workshops (check with adminstration regarding exact dates),Quran classes on weekends(both saturday and sunday). The masjid also has fantastic lectures on Fridays (Masallah). Salamu alakum (peace be upon you).

Excellent place for prayers, socializing with all different communities who come here for worship. Youth and children are always welcome here. Full-fledged gymnasium for all ages. As a bonus they always arrange conferences during long weekends to benefit the communities! Want something more, free food during Ramadan :-)As for some constructive feedback - current management could listen to the diverse community attending the mosque. One example would be - the current contact email address listed on their website is out of order for years now but the admin team does not bother to fix that after multiple reminders. :-(BarakAllahu Feek!

I can’t find the prayer times on the website I want to attend Jummah prayer but I’m unaware of the Salah timings, please help

This school is not the best one I've been to the teachers are strict and nowadays the classes are highly crowded all in all I didn't realy like this school
