We hired Chef and Somm to celebrate my Grandfathers milestone birthday of 90 years!Starting from the time of booking Rebecca was so helpful, accommodating and a pleasure to work with! Come the day of the event Rebecca, Chef and Erica showed up with everything needed to host the event. We sat back and enjoyed such a wonderful experience. An experience we will never forget. From the choices of wine and the education on the wine to the choices of food and some background on some of the food was such a nice touch to learn along the way. The food was exceptional and exactly the style we wanted for our event. Was full of flavour, creative and the presentation was beautiful, almost too beautiful to eat. Erica was so friendly and bubbly we loved her presence and brought such a beautiful aura to our event! This team of 3 is dynamic, full of fun and super professional. Our belly’s were full our palettes were singing and our kitchen was left spotless!!!!! I would highly, highly, highly recommended Chef and Somm for a romantic dinner for 2 to celebrating milestones in your life! Truly a remarkable and pleasurable experience from beginning to end! We had an incredible experience with Chef & Somm for my mom’s 70th birthday. We wanted to arrange a very special meal for her and this was. First, the food was nothing short of sensational. Chef is very talented and thought of such unique food pairings. I find meals particularly special when you can’t go anywhere else to replicate what you had. This hit that mark. Second, the wine matched the food in quality and experience. Rebecca matched beautiful wines to each dish. Third, Chef & Somm provided a great and personal experience, explaining each dish and wine.I would highly recommend Chef & Somm. You will receive an incredible experience with dishes that are beautiful, unique and that you will remember long after.

What a Wonderful Experience!The table setting was gorgeous and the service was great. They love what they do and it shows! Every course was a piece of art, presented by chef with a fascinating bit of knowledge that we appreciated as food lovers. Every dish was a delicious adventure, including... lamb testicals! Somm. Rebecca's wine pairings were perfectly on point! We'd highly recommend this romantic experience for you and your loved one(s), and are looking forward to doing it again.

Amazing in-home wine tasting. Rebecca picked amazing wines that aligned with what we wanted to try, and she guided us through the tasting. She was happy to answer our hundreds of questions. This was not a pretentious wine-tasting - this was us learning about the wines and finding what we liked, discovering new wines, regions and varietals to try. I would definitely do this again in the future, and highly recommend. So fun!

We had a wonderful and unique dinner for our fifth wedding anniversary. The food and wine pairings were amazing. I also loved the descriptions for each wine and dish. On top of enjoying a delicious meal, I learned a great deal about the food. I’ve never had such flavourful greens! They also bring everything you could think of—even place mats! I highly recommend Chef and Somm whether it’s for a celebration or dinner party.

We loved our dinner experience!! The food was so colourful, fresh and delicious! Chef & Somm took their time to find out what our likes/dislikes were before they shopped for our menu, and every course was completely amazing. Chef came to our table at the onset of each course and gave us interesting insight as to where each food came from and how it was prepared. Some food history was discussed, and that was fun and interesting. I have definitely highly recommended them to my friends and family. This experience was a gift to us. It is a wonderful gift idea for anniversaries, birthdays or family occasions.The food was so artistically arranged. A feast for all the senses! They both were very personable and professional. I have only good things to say about our special dinner.

I planned a surprise birthday party for my husband with Chef & Somm, a dining experience with paired wines for a party of four. We were absolutely floored by high caliber of food, wine, and the amazing personalities of Rebecca, Erica, and Chef Eyal! The wine was out of this world delicious, the food absolutely scrumptious, and the gorgeous decor melted our hearts. The amount of tailoring and personalisation for my husband's likes/wants was so thoughtful and carefully prepared, that I saw him blush for the second time since knowing him (the first blush was during our wedding lol). I can't stress enough how magical the evening was, it was absolutely perfect and beyond all of our expectations. And on top of it all, they are a sustainable, environmental, and local focused friendly company! Thank you Rebecca, for your great knowledge in wine, neat origin stories and your beautiful warm heart. Thank you Erica, for your lovely creative mind and your life of the party amazing company. And thank you Chef, for your one-of-a-kind precise art of cooking, interesting food history and your spunky humour that we loved! I will recommend Chef & Somm over, and over, and over again to everyone I know.

My experience with Chef and Somm was 10/10. This was my second time enjoying a dinner with them and they did not disappoint. The set up process was very seamless - I was having a surprise dinner prepared and no one was going to be there to let them in but they easily coordinated with me to make the dinner possible. The food and wine pairing were impeccable as always. Both Rebecca and Chef are extremely knowledgeable about all of the ingredients and all of the wine making it a very interactive experience. If you want a 5 star meal in your own home where you do no set up, no clean up, and absolutely EVERYTHING is made from scratch than Chef and Somm is a must. Highly recommend!
