I want to let everyone know about my experience at this location. On Aug 5, 2021 I had contacted Blain to have someone check the Freon on my reefer nothing else was required at this time. I went in with my reefer at 11:30 AM. I was left in the parking lot waiting for over an hour so much for the service there. Finally a tech came out with a service truck and backed up to my reefer as it was raining at this time. When we had asked the tech just to check the Freon he noticed my Dad’s accent at this time he closed the side door so we couldn’t see anything. After 15 mins he came out and said the wiring on the computer has a lot of zip ties and we noticed all the doors on the front of the reefer had been removed. We asked why are you checking the computer we only wanted the Freon to be checked. He went back inside the service truck and closed the side door. After awhile he came out and said he couldn’t start the reefer it had shorted out from the rain. He said we need a new computer which cost $4700.00 plus tax and a full day labour. At this time we told him to put it back together. The tech went inside to check on a computer when he came back he said we don’t have a used cone but we can get you a new one for $4700.00. We took our reefer and left. I brought a different company to check it again and found out the tech at TK pushed the = button so far inside it had been jammed on load mode. You can’t change anything on the reefer. I contacted Rick at TK to show him the unit and explained what the tech had done. Rick apparently is the manager there. He said the tech told him the computer shorted out from the rain and he can’t do anything about it. The company I had brought changed the computer for $1100.00 new computer. Imagine the difference on the price. The computer never shorted out it was damaged by TK the tech broke it. There is no need to remove the doors to check the Freon. I hadn’t been to this location for a few years as I don’t trust them. On this day it was a quick stop and obviously a big mistake. I have contacted the head office which an investigation is being done. If they can’t solve this fairly then I will take legal action against TK.

I had to give a middle of the road review, due to the fact that their work is great, but lack of space and technicians make it very difficult to get service or repairs done on anything that's not a loaded reefer trailer. Never been disappointed with their service on my tripac, but the difficulty in getting work done on it means I need to give it a 3

Got the bunk heater fixed. Was a good experience this time will give them another chance now. Friendly woman at service counter. If they just had a couple more people working there with her personality it would improve the experience.

Was told my unit would be ready the same day, went over to check on it to find no one there at 7pm and the whole place locked up. They are open till 12pm and then was not given my unit back until 1pm the following day. 2 days of money lost
