I am not a fan of poutine but I was told by 2 people to here and try Combo#2 (Poutine, Steam Hotdog and Pop)This place changed my mind about poutineObviously in Toronto, they don't sell poutine. Whatever that is, they should call it something else, not poutineSteamed hotdog wasn't as great as I was told but it was okIf I go that area again, I will visit this place for sure

Come here for the poutine! Cheese curds are fresh from the nearby Boivin cheese factory. A medium poutine is less than $6, very affordable. The restaurant is very casual, typical fast food decor, eat in or take out available. Definitely get take out and cross the street for a seat overlooking the water.

One of the best poutines i have ever had! The chese was fresh the fries were crispy and tasty, their sauce was just perfect. Not too salty or extra sweetness like other places. I also had they fried cheese balls which i thought was sooo good! I definitely recoment and would forsure go again!

We went on a Sunday, around 11. First, the limited parking is really poorly designed and the 5 parking spot were occupied. Ok, so we found parking on the adjacent high passing street. Arrived to the door, we saw a lineup all the way to the door. After 10 minutes the lineup didn't move. In the meantime, some random people almost push us out of the way to go in, no caring about other people. Rude! And we had a child with us too, not impressed!Overall, bad location, poorly designed parking, slow service, lack of staff. Menu seems to have really expensive prices for a gettho place such as Cantine Boivin.I would recommend to buy your cheese curds somewhere else and make your own. I am highly displeased by my experience and do not plan to ever attend that place again!

Was great a year ago, now not so much.Cashier asked for a tip...we were getting our food for takeout. Unacceptable.We will not be returning.

Love this place. Great for locals or tourists. If you go you must try their fried cheese curds. First time I heard of it I was like no way. But NOW I'm like yes please sometime two just for me. You can always reheat in a toaster oven or a regular oven, taste just the same. Great people, near the baie, always a quick lunch or supper idea, they also have other great foods on the menu.
