UFCW Local 333

Working with this group has been amazing, they have strived tirelessly throughout the pandemic to represent their members, At hotels and guard locations, the executive of this union have be tireless in their lobbying for their members to receive support, information and better standards of living. We commend them on their work and hope to continue to be part of their campaign to improve working conditions for guards and hospitality workers.

I contacted the Union regarding an issue I needed clarification on, and within 48 hours the issue was addressed and resolved. Thank you!

A completely useless company, they don't help at all and i have noticed that the only way they help is by having a group of people spamming a specific group. (The government not giving security premium). It doesn't do anything and we're stuck paying for this worthless trash

This union & Neptune security will steal your last paycheck. Neptune has teamed up with this union to rip off waterloo region security staff. They have collectively stolen thousands of dollars from hundreds of employees.

My union Steward solicited the client to get me removed from the site and resulted in the loss of my job and income to support my living situation. I contacted the Union and told them and they are now not returning my calls and seem not to care about the situation. The day has come where the Union does not care about corruption within the members. They will tell you they care, but they don't.

This union does nothing but steal our money they do nothing the fees where $33 a month now just went up to $39 the benefits are a joke when you call the office nothing gets resolved no one answers the phone the dentist benefits we are given a paper with postal codes and have to pick which one is close to where you live then if the codes change you then have to go to a new dentist i get better benefits from my part time job

This union" is a complete joke and sham.We were assimilated into this "local" union via another embarrassing company "Neptune"

I notice my post keeps getting deleted. I was flabbergasted when I had initially gone into the UFCW Local 333 headquarters where I had explained the issues I was having with my former employer such as harassment on the job, and HR sitting on their hands doing nothing about what I had recently reported along with supported evidence. The members of the grievance committee were cavalier and dismissive. The president for UFCW Local 333 who I thought was there to represent me had lied about a lot of things. Stay away from these guys, they will do more harm than good!

An individual from this union came to my workplace and told me that all my coworkers have signed documents to be unionized. If I don’t sign, I will be left out. I didn’t sign the document and asked for a little time to think over it. After he left, I found only two individuals signed for it.Trust is an integral part of allowing someone to represent you which this union already failed for me as their first presentation starts with lies.After digging deep, I found out that if majority votes to be unionized for a workplace that workplace is unionized for everyone including individuals who doesn’t want to be unionized.I wouldn’t recommend this union to anyone.
