Four Points by Sheraton Barrie

Honestly the main downside to this hotel is there is no noise insulation.You hear other people's televisions, anything going on outside, anybody in the hall.The sounds went on past 1 a.m.Each room really needs to include a set of ear plugs and maybe a white noise machine.Most everything else is satisfactory or above.Also if you plan to use the pool, ask them 3 days before for them to turn the pool heating system. It takes 3 days for the pool to get to the temp they set. Otherwise the pool is very cold.

This was the most disgusting hotel I could have ever stayed in not only was the rooms horrible the hotel itself was horrible the heat and a/c did not work the shower was a pressure washer that hurt , the carpets were disgusting I woke up with bites on my arms and lets not forget the the biggest issue of all the constant harassment my children received from there staff I was in fear. I did not feel safe at all staying here I felt like I was in a middle of a trafficking plot. worst stay ever. still trying to get over this stay absolutely horrible I truly hope this hotel is investigated top to bottom staff and all

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in March of 2023. The day we checked out we realized that we left some personal belongings in the hotel room, I called the hotel that same day to see if they could locate and hold the items for us, we were informed that we would receive a call back after they checked with the cleaning staff. After the day passed with no return call, i called again the following day, again I was told they would check with the cleaning staff and return my call, this time they returned the call to inform us that the items can't be found. So it appears that the staff have claimed our personal belongings as their own (only a few hours after we checked out of the room), it's apparent that they can't be trusted.Edit to reply to owner: We are 100% confident that we left the items in the room, we told your staff exactly where they were located the same day we checked out, so, either a member of your staff took the items, or they didn't clean the room properly and left them for the next person to book the room, both aren't good practice. I'm guessing the first as we called your hotel later in the day we checked out.You mention that your staff have never taken anything that doesn't belong to them before, I find this hard to believe because there is a review from 6 months ago with a similar situation to this, this doesn't look good on you or your staff.

We were here for 4 nights for a dance comp (4 people two Queen room). it was nice to have a place that still takes the time to make beds every day and check stock for towels and stuff without you calling down every 5 mins to get things sent up. I think most hotels are lacking this detail. I also am very particular with my pillow and they were very friendly to send up various pillows for me to try. It was greatly appreciated that I got a nice firm pillow to sleep on. The showers have been updated so I had no complaints on that end. All in all we were very happy to stay in this slightly dated building. I would recommend it.The only slight issue we had was a piece of food fell on the floor and we didn’t notice for about an hour and when we did see it, it was covered with 300 ants. We called the front desk who eventually admitted there is a small problem with ants. Besides this everything else was good.

Hotel was great. There were a few weddings that made a lot of noise and kept us up all night. Our room was right beside the pool so all we could smell was chlorine. Luckily the hotel and the staff were wonderful which made up for the disturbances.

Overall good experience, except the coffee machine was quite dirty. There are some really nice walking/running trails behind the hotel in the woods.

Wifi is very intermittent and slow when connected. Hotels should have the infrastructure for busy" times - there's is indeed a capacity at hotels.Contrary to info

Very nice staff and a little restaurant and small bar. Nice change from the standard lobby and go to the elevator routine. Also gave me a discount because i was a CAA member. Thanks! Nice view of ravine and trees

My boyfriend & I stay here every time he's in Barrie & we've never had any complaints. Perfectly stocked rooms, perfectly timed house keeping, & greatly accommodating staff. Would highly recommend for a quick & easy get away.
