Your 12am cravings go to bubble tea shop. They offer lots of flavours and they’re mostly good for their teas. Super fair prices that you can’t compare to any other stores. Super kind and heart warming owner and very personable.

My favourite go-to place! Very nice atmosphere for studying and the staff is always so kind and friendly. They make the most delicious drinks and for a good price to. Will always recommend to anyone living/hanging out in the area :)

Lait night is a small milk tea shop located near many student residences open later than most places. They have delicious dango in a variety of flavours and quality drinks including milk tea and smoothies. They recently opened so our group of friends gave them a try.The first time we came here it was a busy night for lait night and they were training employees so our order was mixed up quite a bit. The owner offered drinks on them when we returned and the second time round was a lot better.My favourite drink is the taro cream with taro chunk toppings with half the sweetness. The taro drink us made with real taro as opposed to the purple powder that most other tea shops use. Also, the black sesame dango are very flavourful and the texture is perfect.Overall, I would definitely return here again if they maintain the consistent drink quality and good service.

this place is a must try, seriously!great hours, since its really close to my university its really convenient to come here for some awesome drinks and late all nighters.really cozy decorations, and it's usually the same guy working who's really chill, so overall it's a realy nice study atmosphere

This is my first time trying Lait Night at Waterloo. I went here with a group of friends and we wanted to try something new so we stumbled upon this place.Upon entering this unique café, there wasn't much tables inside. Luckily, it was quiet during the time that we came so we were able to grab a table for ourselves. The inside of the café is aesthetically pleasing and it is a perfect place for studying (free Wi-Fi inside). Overall, Lait Night did a great job in branding themselves.Their menu offers a wide variety of selection of drinks and snacks. Their tea lattes are made with premium teas and real milk, or milk alternatives, using no artificial flavours or powders. They can be made hot or cold to suit anyone's preferences. Their smoothies are made with real ingredients and can be customized to your taste with your choice of milk.I would definitely agree that they have great customer service and friendly staff members. I ordered the Pink Rose Medley as it was suggested by one of the baristas. This is a herbal and decaf tea made with rosebuds, ginkgo leaf and beetroot. It was very floral, sweet and refreshing.We also ordered matcha and red bean Dango which is hand made skewered and comes in a variety of flavours. We had to wait about 15 minutes until it came out. These colourful rice balls were firm, sweet and chewy.However, there was a couple of issues I had encountered during my visit. While everyone's drinks had arrived, mine came last. I had to ask one of the staff members if my drink is still coming and it turns out that they had completely forgotten my order! In addition, when the Dango was served the first round, it was not round like a circle. One of the staff members informed us 15 minutes later that they had overcooked" those Dango and is willing to remake it for us. We accepted the offer and had to wait again for it to be made. Good taste. Not enough place

We came in around 10:30 on Friday night and it wasn't too busy. The staff was super nice and made our order pretty quickly. Ordered the peach oolong tea with strawberry chunks as well as the matcha and black sesame dango. The drink was really refreshing but the flavor was a bit too light for my liking. However, the black sesame dango was very yummy and I would recommend it!

A great boba spot! I was just looking for a place to grab bubble tea since the place I usually go to is closed and found this one. It’s amazing! Everything is fresh, the tapioca is actually good and not chewy or weird. I got their assam black milk tea, my sister got a peach juice with this popping jelly and my friend got the brown sugar latte with tapioca. They were all delicious and the service was awesome too. I will definitely be coming back<3

Hands down the best Bubble Tea in Waterloo - service was so friendly & fast, and the brown sugar milk tea & mango smoothie were delicious!
